  • They myst be illegal... I want one! :D

  • how do you make these paper tubes?

  • BP is shit...the other 2 are nice...! nice vid. thumps up!

  • @Tunnelfish probably china :D

  • Fucking awesome,.. nice!!!!

  • mama wants her bowl back now.

  • if you use black powder, you have to make stronger plugs, because it burns slower than flash powder and the plugs take much more pressure on them.

  • I'd like to know who made the pot, it's a tough bugger.

  • wow the blackpowder one goes skyhigh xD

  • you can use the cannister again!!

  • great vid just a quick favor could u please message me the website where you get your potassium perchlorate?

  • nice video. excellent way of testing the power of a different type of burst charge :)

  • Dude, great video. +5

  • just make your own bp out of high quality charcoal, use weingart firecracker (50 / 25 / 25 ), ive made potent stuff out of it

  • that is a fantastic way of testing the force of salutes. of course i predicted the outcome on your video becuase if it is named thunder #3 then it must be good. great vid

  • so whats the thunder #3 mixture? care to share it??

  • thunder #3 is:

    64 % KClO4

    23 % Al

    13% S

The sulfur makes it cheaper, and in my experience even gives a faster fp with a deeper bang. it's lovely.

  • why does nobody make yellow powder? its just kno3, sulfur and potassium carbonate.. (: i think ill make some when i get sulfur (from black powder?)

  • love the thunder #3, it always a favorite :)

  • have a look at my video "Remote Ignition System" for a idea on what its made of

  • lol i fart louder than the blackpowder one rofl good job tho

  • Obviously, black powder (pyrodex) yields pretty pathetic explosions. It is meant for rifles and cannons exclusively. This is why traditional fireworks use much faster burning flash powder to do their dirty work! I wonder if the black powder would produce a better yield if mixed with a fair amount of magnesium powder??

  • this is damn awesome good work =)

  • That's EXCELLENT. Although I do not know why people mix sulfur in with the aluminium and potassium perchlorate. As far as I know, it is only there to lower the ignition temperature, which hardly is necessary when using proper visco or safety fuse. Googling KNO3 flash powder is kind of pointless, as this doesnt give any info on what metal fuel you use. Thunder #3 was easy enough to find. ;)

  • To save up perchlorate - 5 grams of FP with sulfur contains less perchlorate than 5 grams without it. ;) The nitrate FP mix was KNO3:S:Al=5:2:3 and I thought this was a known composition.

  • KNO3:S:Al 5:2:3 may be the most common composition, but not the only one, for sure. :) Personally I use what Google calls Thunder #4, i.e. Al and KClO4 OR a magnesium + nitrate flash powder. Very nice, regardless. I wish I had an electrical ignition device like yours.

  • Yeah well I made those electric ignitors myself. Maybe I'll make a tutorial some day, they're not that difficult to make. I use 12 volts, but I've also tested them on 9 volts without any problems.

  • I would love to see such a tutorial. Make it "for dummies" so even I would understand it. ;)

  • @xCpp What did u use for the elcetronic ignitors pretty kool...So for your look like the simplest one so far and the most reliable send me some info please...

  • @evilgrummus you can make the electric ignitors homemade there not that hard to make just search on youtube im sure youll find out how...

  • @xCpp R u using Atomized spherical AL?...R u getting the powder really fine?...I have a ball mill and did not seem to any better lol...How r u making the tubes there sick...

  • not only you save expensive perchlorate and aluminium, i also noticed it gives a lower tone with more bass, probably because it creates much more gas than a composition with just (per-)chlorate and metal whose reaction products are mostly solid.. mixing sulfur with perchlorates is relatively safe, but i wouldnt recommend it with chlorates..

  • Sir, your products are awesome! Yes, the BP one is a bit failure, but other two should really make you proud!
