I think you got a pretty clever timing with the music being turned on in the film and the music stepping to a higher level in the song at about 1:42. (Did anyone get what I was trying to say with this?)

And the kiss at the end.. Oh my, when the music ends it's like you have to hold your breath and sink into this (as copperandbrick said) agonised state of unrequited love...
