The first time I heard this song I had just found out my dad had passed away. I was on my way home when the song came on and I had to pull over because I was crying so hard...it is so beautiful. I am glad our daughter has such a loving relationship with her daddy. We are only here for a short time and God blesses us with many gifts it's our job to see and remember them.

Love this song. Growing up I didn't know my dad. But about a week ago I located him through finding his sister inlaw on facebook. I met my dad for the first time since I was 2 yrs old. I am so very happy i found him. He is a wonderful man and cant wait to get to know him more.

i would just liek to say... that i am a proud father of a 14 monht old beautiful girl. she is my world and since i got divorced i dont see her often which kills me but the tim ei do have with her i make the best out of it. to all dads out there.. always remember that she is your princess and always do right by her. and to maddi... even though u wont see this... daddy loves you and i miss you everyday! and women... dont keep ur children from their fathers! especially when we want to be there!

I know what you mean jcoleman218, I lost my father just before I graduated, a few years ago. We had just started to get to like each other and spend sometime together. There's not a day goes by that I so wish that he could meet my fiancée and be proud of us. I wish so many times he would've danced with me both on grad and at our wedding but God does things for reasons and I will accept His way no matter what. Choose life and walk with Jesus. One day Jesus will carry you way and you will dance.
