you should watch out how your orient antennas on your plane. Its best to keep both rx and tx antennas vertical. Whats the name of that "slick" container with the camera and antenna already in it? Where did you buy it?

@boomanfabo31 buy the new easystar 2. It's cheap, flies perfectly even with ballast, is very crash resistant and looks good. Not very critical and even flies well in thermals with motor off.

I have for project to make a UAV I could control from fairly mid-long distances (like in my neighbourhood) as I would pack into a RC helicopter a video transmitter and a camera and on the ground I would have my computer/a laptop with a video receiver and the RC controller. then the dx5e cant take it may take req 50

@NKOTech not true. Frequencies conflict just as with any other radio system. The spread spectrum stuff just hops to other frequencies in order to avoid the channels that are taken up, however by placing a transmitter so close to the receiver it may cause saturation problems etc...
