Surprisingly enough, the power adaptors used in the T series were also compatible with nearly every thinkpad made before the switch to lenovo in 2006. I have an R51, an A30 and a 600/600e and I use the same power adaptor for all of them.

I dont seem to have any problems with mine, just my HP printer seems to get disconnected so I have to reboot it every once in a while. I like the fact that their basic and dont really have that "cheap" plastic feel.

Actually you can turn wireless on and off on the T4X series, you have to hold the function key (FN) and press F5.

Nice but whitout video acceleration and no Aero whitout this thinks is like a windows xp nothing special ... i am a ibm t42 dealer i tested a lot of settings to run windows vista ot 7 whit aero mode but the integrated chipset is too old to run this things and the ibm co. no maded new driver version for better experiance..

DDR2 RAM, 32bit processorm max memory 2GB, so I read. I think it will support more though.

Well, I can't You have he better graphics card, so you should be able to if you have 2GB of RAM. Aeropeek want's more than 1.5GB of RAM for it. Anyways, I would try the driver from lenovo's website. If Windows 7 is not supported, just say Windows Vista.

Download the on for Windows XP. Use winrar to extract the exe into several files. Go to device manager, find your intel graphics card, and right click and hit properties. Driver>Update driver>browse my computer...>let me pick...>have disk>browse where you extracted the files from the .exe, and search around there until you find the .inf file. select that file and continue. If it says it's dangerous, just continue. It really isn't. That should install the right driver manually for you.

I couldnt install windows 7 on my Lenovo thinkpad T60 . It wont start up the cd . I have reading, that all motherboards can not read Windows 7. And thinkpad t60 must be one of them. I also read that windows 7 have problems with secuirty.

Your problem is in the BIOS, NOT the motherboard, I know for sure. The T60 will run it just fine. Enter the BIOS and make sure your computer is set to boot the DVD drive BEFORE the hard drive. For BIOS hit F1 at startup

Nice review! I have a T43 bought used am happy with the way it manages most of my computing needs. Main requirements I seek from general laptops are light weight and sturdy construction for dependable outdoor usage. Thinkpads seems to have those relatively covered for their better models. I use Mac for photography, but use T43 for all other study/internet/research etc.
