Granted action is needed but this is hardly a reason to go totally ballistic. The amounts of pharmaceutics discovered in the water supply are so low that it would require the drinking of hundreds of gallons of water to get any noticeable effect. The concentration of these drugs will however increase with time so a better filtration method is needed. Yes waste water has been recycled by humans for most of history. Even if we didn't recycle it nature has been at it for much longer.

@MUZIK2DANZ2 no, it has to be distilled. Personally, I drink Crystal Geysers bottled water and save tap water for shower taking, I haven't figured out how to avoid that yet.
@MUZIK2DANZ2 The only way to remove Flouride from tapwater is by reverse osmosis - which forces the water under very high pressure through a very fine filter which removes the harmfull particles. It's not cheap and it's quite bulky but it will fit under your sink. You can buy tem online - I'd get it professionally fitted though as they can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing due to the high water pressure.

In most countries, factories like Coca Cola and Pepsi usually build on top or very close to a water source... The companies I've dealt with (like the ones mentioned) licenses their water as beverage... They don't actually deliver water, they may modify it or shock it to extend the exp. date.
Somewhat water is an open source very hard to regulate in terms of what goes in it but at least FDA or whoever should regulate bottled water and etc the way they are supposed to be...

Granted action is needed but this is hardly a reason to go totally ballistic. The amounts of pharmaceutics discovered in the water supply are so low that it would require the drinking of hundreds of gallons of water to get any noticeable effect. The concentration of these drugs will however increase with time so a better filtration method is needed. Yes waste water has been recycled by humans for most of history. Even if we didn't recycle it nature has been at it for much longer.

@MUZIK2DANZ2 The only way to remove Flouride from tapwater is by reverse osmosis - which forces the water under very high pressure through a very fine filter which removes the harmfull particles. It's not cheap and it's quite bulky but it will fit under your sink. You can buy tem online - I'd get it professionally fitted though as they can be dangerous if you don't know what your doing due to the high water pressure.

In most countries, factories like Coca Cola and Pepsi usually build on top or very close to a water source... The companies I've dealt with (like the ones mentioned) licenses their water as beverage... They don't actually deliver water, they may modify it or shock it to extend the exp. date.
Somewhat water is an open source very hard to regulate in terms of what goes in it but at least FDA or whoever should regulate bottled water and etc the way they are supposed to be...

Bottled water is not safe unless it uses Reverse Osmosis Filtration which removes these contaminants. Dasani and Aquafina are ones that do. Using a Reverse osmosis filtrataion system in your home will also remove these contaminants.
