@gome5000 I looked that up cuz I was inerested too. This is what he said in an interview: "That’s just the my own little style. It kind of happened over the years and it got higher and higher, and eventually it got a little bit of novelty. Any little bit of attention it can bring to me as a drummer is alright too."

@padilpr1640 just keep practicing man. I wish I could sound like this but I just need more effort into practicing. But don't just copy and paste(no matter how much I want to). Take the influence but twist it to make it your own. Good luck in your band man =)

This song, like every classic, is best cranked to the max. Crank it up, close your eyes and get fired up. There is no other way to listen to this....once or twice on repeat and you could go out and take down the world if you wanted to.

@TomWhaley621 Except not because Smashing Pumpkins suck ass. Their Vocalist is trash, their music is so-so, and overall their lyrics are somewhat unfulfilled. In fact, I would say they are by far the WORST band I've heard in a very long time.

Now I'm not saying nothing good/great/whatever managed to crawl out of its filth, but get real, the Smashing Pumpkins were garbage. Silversun Pickups and the smashing pumpkins sound nothing alike. @IlkenGirth You're stuck up as hell, Both bands are good in their own way. SSPU is heavily influenced by My Bloody Valentine, Pixies, The Flaming Lips, Catherine Wheel, The Velvet Underground, Sonic Youth, Sweet, Modest Mouse, Sunny Day Real Estate, Secret machine. 3/4 of those bands got strong parralels with Smashing Pumpkins as well. You can't denie that the vocals are somewhat alike, tho i think that ripping off isa bit harsh i reckon. You're ironic, your opininion is longsighted?
