I think thats not right to say, because he chooses the producers and the beats he wants. Producers know what he's like so they make something that would suit his style. He's very versatile. If people say nas doesn't have nice production(post-illmatic), its his fault, cause he's the one who chooses and he's not as versatile(in my opinion) and doesn't take as much musical risks
