  • porn for girls.

  • Crazy to think we've had the privledge of experiencing John's music for about a decade now, can you imagine what the next one will bring?

  • please, edit the descrition : 18+

  • I'm going to jump ahead of annoying rock magazines and before John finally getting smoe recognition when he's old and say that this performance features one of the best guitar solos of all time. Greatly underrated. It's not a shred. It's not a jam. (And he's done his share of both.) It's just a smooth ride, classy, soulful and mellow. As a guitarist myself and lover of a sweet solo, I know how rare a beautiful solo like this one here are these days and appreciate this one. Thanks, John!

  • My favorite part is 0:00 - 8:30 ;)

  • How many guitarists/bassists do they need?!?!?!?

  • I don't trust myself with loving this song

  • This is SEX!

  • This song is givin' me goosebumps...

  • Amazing song!!

  • My favorite part is 5:42 to 5:47 ....'nuff said<3

  • Omg, baby making music at its finest.

  • - Burn one down and listen to 1.40-2:30 as loud as you can.

    - Amazing!

  • Does any fellow guitar player know how to play that part at 7:23? Those brilliant (partly) off beat slides.

Can't figure it out; while it's one of the best parts of the solo's imo! So frustrating!

    Thanks in advance!!

  • Ok, the way he moves his body at 1:23 is totally sexy! I hope I'm not the only one that thinks so lol...

  • Pino <3

  • I thought that someone else was singing the second voice, but then I just realized that it was his guitar. damn.

  • Orgasmic intro !!

  • That key change at 7:18 is absolutely magical

  • For John Mayer fans: the goodness starts at 0:00

For guitar solo fans: the goodness starts at 6:06

    I use both.

  • this song was on repeat all summer... and now it's cold outside, my classes are getting harder, and all i want is to go back to summer, so it's on repeat again.

  • love that hes wearing jeans and a t-shirt...hes not playing anyone, hes just John Mayer

  • wait...why are there 2 bassists? Don't think pino is up there just for show right..? @2.26. That should be him right? with the distinctive chin

  • Seriously, I can't get enough of this. I feel like every artist on that stage is just like. F%$^ yeah so laid back. . . we chillin supa dupa cool. You can tell they all love what they do, but at the same time totally appreciate how good the people are around them especially JOHN MAYER!!!!

  • Seriously, I can't get enough of this. I feel like every artist on that stage is just like. F%$^ yeah so laid back. . . we chillin supa dupa cool

  • does anyone know the effects hes using?

  • for all those confused about why the black drummer has a good feel... well im from South Africa (we have A LOT of black people) and they just have rhythm all of us dream of! its just natural to them. give a black guy a set of drums and yu can just jam along coz they have rythm... hope that clears things up :)

oh and holy shit John Mayer and his band are amazing!!! wet dream material i rate

  • @Aidy132 I don't think anyone was wondering. And I should say, as a black musician myself, drumming skills isn't a matter of hereditary--it's a matter of personality. We have to practice just like anyone else. With anyone, it's just a matter of being immersed in cultural influences and developing your personal tastes. If you've got mad love for it, you're going to have mad feeling for it. I know plenty of dudes who aren't black but got mad beat. Take my boy Darren King from Mutemath.

  • John for Mayor!

  • ohh my god one day ill have sex to this song

  • John Mayor

  • i got goosebumps when the song started

  • EAR-GASM

  • 13 people doesent know the meaning of the word Music !

  • Never mind the 13 idiots who have no taste in music...why does this only have 385,000 views

  • do 13 people not like music?

  • BEST SINGER LIVE .. SOUNDS BETTER LIVE THAN IT DOES NOT

  • @UkzzFinest11 It has since come out that John was using pitch correction equipment through most of the show- which upset a lot of people. No way he could hit those whistles on "stop this train" so well.

  • @drizzler618 It's to be expected. He's not overdoing it or anything. There's no way that he could play Neon so perfectly and sing at the same time. It's even harder to play on guitar than it sounds.

  • soooo high right now...

  • John mayer is the new guitar god. he is a white version of jimi hendrix. he is my idle. he is so fucking good

  • @nicollas1011 There's a little guy in Minneapolis who has been the "new version" of Jimi Hendrix for the past 30yrs or so. Goes by the name of Prince. Ever heard of him?

  • @75samuel75 ....john mayers better.

  • I came.

  • 5:05 stoned?

  • 3:14 "damn that guy is freakin good..." =]

  • Uploaded this to pornhub.

  • 2:55.....mmmm yes. (;

  • 13 PEOPLE TRUSTED.....

  • this is like sex to my ears !

  • To those who say this is completely auto-tuned: John actually "sings along with his guitar" in some songs... Meaning, watch him pick... He plays the same notes that he sings while he is singing, and solos when he's not singing.

He does it multiple songs when he plays live, namely: Gravity, Half of My Heart, Perfectly Lonely.. Etc. What a talent though.. I'd kill to play backup for him.

  • i thought i was gay after listening to this song over and over...

  • Must be very cozy on the stage :P 3 guitar players, 2 bass, 2 drums, blow-instruments, pianist a whole damn good music family man!

  • Yes

  • 5:33 Jimi Hendrix Laugh

  • two bass players, friggin' awesome

  • having sex to this song is the shit.

  • This songs so good it needs to bassists

  • Where is the love button? :P

  • No words, the talent speaks for itself.

  • how could this be disliked?

  • Pino & Dela

  • This man's pure musical talent and vocal gift can transport me to a completely different world, no matter what is going on in my day...and see him live!! Oh my god, nothing will EVER musically compare. Thank you JM, you have taken music to a whole new level....

  • That's right John.. feel the music flow from inside of you.. <3

  • Looking for the button to "Like this" HARD!

  • I see why the girls wanna sleep with him. I know I do (i'm otherwise straight, by the way). Sure, there are other guitarists whose musicianship may be better, but he makes his instrument sing man, you can feel the emotion coming straight from an otherwise inanimate object. Love it.

  • I just LOVE his face when he's playing his guitare :D

  • i dont see how anyone could dislike such greatness like this

  • Word's on the street that when you die you hear this song on your way to heaven.

  • I love how there are 3 guitars and two basses!

  • -jm's tone+phrasing+voice+skill

-drummers feel+his drums sound amazing+hes black

    -smooth bass

-everybody on that stage is so skilled

  • @chickenmarbles1 lol what does him being black have to do with anything?

  • @Danklin24 lol nothing really, i just know a lot of black drummers have a real good feel

  • i wish i had a black guys snare

  • I will always love this song, can't hear it too much

  • ishhhhhhhhhh that feeling ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • I Love his face expression at 5:11 SO cute(;

  • 6:35 to 6:39 makes me want to run on stage and rip his clothes off

  • 4:16, the way he says "who" is amazing!

  • 1:59 is AMAZING

  • john's guitar is perfect!

  • what? DeLa and Pino Palladino in the same song? I don't get it :P

  • Professional performance. But the main snare sounds bad for me.

  • Professional perfomance. But the main snare sounds bad for me.

  • 1:56-2:31 <3

  • Groovy and seductive.

  • anyone know what kind of effects he's using for the first solo when the actual song starts?

  • uuuhhh....what a song.....I could listen to it all day long.......

  • that bass sounds so nice in this song!

  • Wow this is pure audio sex

  • @copdawg771

    With multiple orgasms, yes. LOL

  • @copdawg771 EARGASM.

  • @copdawg771 aural sex?

  • i will never get tired of this song.. so sexy.. so seductive..!

  • @Mytilization101 o ya...give addiction

  • @funkymonkyize best word to describe this song.. PORN...! haha!

  • why are there 2 bass players?

  • SRV, would love John Mayer. Glad to hear the influence coming out of John's music. No one will ever be Stevie, but John's not trying, merely, sharing his love of Stevie, B.B., Waters, Clapton's music........, his way.

  • sometimes the faces he makes while he's playing guitar seriously make me think he's about to throw up

  • Any one have tabs or know where I can find tabs for the horn section?

  • Reggae beat!

  • key change at 7:20 is kewl...I'm actually diggin this whole concert....

  • I really don't understand the problem people have with Mayer being strongly influenced by SRV. If anything, I personally believe that any SRV fan out there should be content with Mayer's work and how it will keep Stevie's style around. There's no wrong in learning from guitar elites and letting them influence you, in fact I find a lot a good in it. Please stop the hate and understand that he's simply appreciating stevie.

  • Its amazing 5:06

  • It just does not get better than this amazing amazing amazing!! takes my breath away everytime when the song kicks in!!!!

  • JOhn mayer has admitted the use of auto tune. But I've got a question, isnt auto tune an effect wich is applied after the recording? because i've seen footage of this show recorded by people on the crowd and it sounds the same (including that robotic "your future" at 2:46), when they should have the "non auto tuned" version.

  • @gavbag1234 Well I am not trying to bash JM he's actually an amazing artist but yeah it seems that every musicians use autotune nowadays. Just watch man he says it word for word in this vid. Just type: John Mayer - UStream - On Autotune

  • PINOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

  • i am a HUGE mayer fan, but at 2:46 my worst fears are confirmed: he used pitch correction in this concert. also listen to the very very end of "why georgia" from this show. the last time he says "why, georgia, why" is a very obvious robo-tune. it is undeniable and i am surprised that mayer allowed for this to be released.

  • @ThunderRock41 John has openly said he's used Autotune on every album since Room For Squares. Who cares?! He's an incredible musician, especially live. Tweeking a few vocals from a concert where he sings 20+ songs? No. Big. Deal.

  • @TheTK3 you are SO right. :)

  • @TheTK3 Exactly, these songs are being released to the public, trying to sell millions of copies, and he's playing 3 concerts in one night basically. There going to need to do some tweaking to make his listeners more satisfied and attract others who have not heard much of him. I'd say its a perfectly plausible move.

  • @ThunderRock41 you are a fool. Of course he is going to use it to clean some stuff up. It's a live dvd. It's not like he was playing with it live. and he for sure doesnt use it for his live shows.. hes just fucking amazing lets leave it at that

  • my god. john clayton mayer, is outstanding and i love him cause he's just insane on the guitar and so good at singing

  • amazing marry me john mayer

  • the intro is so groovy i dont know what to do with myself.

  • @skateplanbboard i suggest jerking off while it's playing

  • Do love Jm's stuff. This one reminded me of SRV but with a flavour of Police. Next time I get weed this is going on. Plus Gravity. Plus Slow Dancing... well, at least the first couple hours will be JM.

    Pax.

  • That key change at the end is soooooooo orgasmic, from man to man that is skillfull

  • I'm ashamed of the human race when i see auto-tune pop/r&b singers get more hits then our hero John Mayer!

  • @musymusic John have used auto-tune on every album he has made actually. Even this show is auto-tuned. you can clearly hear the pitch-correction at 2:47 he smiles cuz of it. Still John is an amazing artist but I think he would be better off without auto-tune

  • @JohnHydrogen

yeah you can hear it soooo clearly ;o

    his voice sounds really fake

  • @jimlucas0 no no, this is a microphone effect... =]

  • @jimlucas0 he's singing falsetto, a range higher than his regular voice. Lots of artists sing in falsetto.

  • @scatback105 lol i know that but it sounded fake and you can clearly hear it, it's not that hard to hear

  • @JohnHydrogen

That's not true man. It was just a different note to the one he typically sings.

  • @musymusic hi!

  • This should have way way way more views. That intro is pretty much the greatest thing ever. And that solo??? Are you kidding me??? Ugh. This song is pure sex, basically.

  • 3 people playing guitar, 2 people playing bass. 2 strats, a tele, a jazz bass, and a precision. Talk about a Fender Fest lol.

  • Ah the horns in this are so great. This song is just straight sexy in general, but the horns at 4:03 and then 5:20-5:45 are just so slick. They sound like they're straight off D'Angelo's "Voodoo". This is some artwork in motion people!

  • It's like sex on a stage....that my friends is John Mayer music :)

  • What guitar effect is he using at the start? I want it badly!!!

  • @breachmania rodger linn's adrenalinn 3

  • Love the jazz influence in Continuum, it really shows in this song and in Vultures and Gravity.

  • There is a horn line in the background. If you have the DVD you can see them. they don't have lights on them.

  • <3 beautiful :)

  • the way he plays the guitar is hypnotizing

  • such sweet sweet music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love the song, but why are there 2 bassists?

  • @Carevillepeasant Cuz the concert was played as three sets, Acoustic (First one or Intro) than John Mayer Trio ( 2nd) and that had Pino Palladino as well as Steve Jordan there, that's why those 2 guys come back to play with the complete band again after a few songs, while the whole band is there its the Band set, and there he plays his more popular songs, Belief, Gravity, Slow dancing, Georgia etc.

  • This music is that only thing that keeps me from thinking this guy is a complete douchbag.

  • one word --> Amazing!

  • oh my god

  • The key change at 7.20 gets me every time :-D

  • Comment removed

  • @rachelnsmith13 Do you know to what key it changes? Am to ??

  • @johnnnybruce Am to Am! but in octave

  • @gian12131 sorry.. but it is a whole step from the root, so... Am to Bm, can't you hear that?( btw, i'm not tryin' to be mean..)

  • @rachelnsmith13 my kid turned me onto john mayer music. great stuff, from a young guy, with an old soul.

I have CP. was fortunate enough to get to 1 of john's concerts, i don't think i've ever had a better night out.

  • @rachelnsmith13 to Bm :P

  • This guy can REALLY strum the guitar

  • i listen to this just for the solo sometimes, but it feels like its missing something. so i go back to beginning to listen to the whole thing, and then the solo comes in...mind=blown.

  • mayer doesnt "try" to be SRV, there are definitely flashes of influence, but SRV plays A LOT more aggressively than mayer does. mayers music tends to have more of a low key - mellow sound

  • @mikejimmymitch

    yeah.. youre right..

i see john more like.. the soft hendrix

  • @mikejimmymitch He's got major influence from both Clapton and SRV. And who the hell can blame him? He's created an awesome sound all his own, with heavy influence from two of the greatest.

  • @mikejimmymitch you hit that on the button mayer is tooo smooth where as SRV was Smooth but raw and energetic as hell at the same time. Obviously though you can see the influence cuz without guys like SRV, Eric Clapton, amongst many others Mayer wouldn't be where he is today

  • @mikejimmymitch Mayer sings songs for little girls. Why is that not clear ?

  • @badmaker77 Because you're adopted.

  • @mikejimmymitch John always is constantly saying that SRV is one of those greats that influenced his playing and when he, and others, try to emulate him, they almost always fail, but produce a sound of their own that define them.

  • who the fuck wouldnt like this video? oh yea 14 people.sad

  • This performance shows John Mayer's skill on the fretboardand + with guitar effects. He's got a stage presence similar to Hendrix's, some guitarists couldn't EVEN dream of playin like him AND HE FUCKIN SINGS WHILE PLAYIN.

  • @marleyJR100 lol singing while playing isnt hard. He is a really good guitarist tho and he has good taste. But i've been looking into him using autotune, cuz someone pointed it out and when i listen i think i can hear it.

  • HOW IN THE WORLD DOES HE GET THAT TONE!?!?!?!?!

  • derek trucks is absolutely not as good as john mayer.
