This is perfect - and the fact that you say that "i can't relate to".....is perfect since most people can not understand that unless they are going through it.
I was bullied as a kid for being a tomboy, I was called all sorts of names and would push me around. I didn't have a lot of friends, and it didn't seem like anybody understood what I was going through, or that anyone cared. I had a school counselor ask me if i tried not being different. I never changed who I was and never will, and now I have an amazing group of friends that don't care that I'm a tomboy, and a decent job, and working on a second degree. Thanks for the support Dina!! :)
Hi Dina-- Thank you so much for this video. I knew I was gay since I was a kid; I just knew I was different. (This was in the '70s--I was a teenager in the '80s during the AiDS crisis.)
I was incredibly lucky that I was born innately spiritual and artistic because I had my guitar playing, painting, writing, and meditation practice to save me. And then Ellen came out...and things got a bit easier. :)
Divine wisdom once again. Thank you for your courage to do this and educate people. I love the line, "Hurt people hurt people," and it is SO true. It's great to have you online/on air again. I adore you, your charity and innser/outer beauty.
@MyHighlandFling14 I think she was refering to the five gay boys/men that killed themselves in that month of time. Im sure she knows there are lesbians
straight or gay, high school feels like the be-all-end-all-universe for kids. it's hard for them to understand there is life after graduation, a much better and happier one at that. well done, dina :)
Thank you Dina! In the spirit of what you said "hurt people hurt people" as a child I was bullied for being gay from about 3rd grade to 12th grade. It got better. Also what was nice was as an adult 2 of the numerous kids that bullied me sought me out and apologized for it. That meant a lot to me in fact hearing what they were going through in their lives as a child made me feel worse for them than what they put me through,
this is amazing dina :) also you are the perfect, adorable, amazing version of dr. evil and mr. bigglesworth haha, dr. angel and mrs. grandma wrinkles!
