As long as you would have service and signal, yes. But you just won't be able to connect to 4g connections.

For anybody that can afford it: Get it! I was first considering the captivate, but when I went to the store, I immediately fell in love with the inspire. Everything is responsive, fast, and made of sturdy, stylish material. The camera is AMAZING and although the device is a little heavy, it is worth it! The 4.3 inch screen is beautiful!!! Hurry up and get this phone!

@TheChorrizo Mate seriously i have used htc desire hd , htc trophy windows 7 but came back to iphone 4 eventually battery life of iphone 4 is way better , retina display is amazing , IOS is most stable . feel of iphone 4 (hardware is just the best).APP STORE is the best app store out there.speed (A4), voice quality ,visual voicemail, safari, mail,itunes, its all just perfect . i know u might hate iPhone but fact is fact. i am not saying other phones are not good but iphone4 is the best yet.

Actually it's a Qualcomm 1gHz Scorpion processor. Anyways, don't use an application to test the speed it's better to load up a web page.
