There's not enough heart, and the characters are not portrayed powerful enough. There's no color, no life. Having lived in the Deep South, I can honestly say that women there are like flowers...very vibrant. It's hard to believe that a theatre in Tennessee (of all places) could mess this lovely play up. And just as a side note: I have acted professionally and do know what I'm talking about.
Omg, this is so terrible! The costumes are all wrong, and Ouiser needs to be WAY more obnoxious and loud! The ladies who played Annelle and Clairee seem to be doing well though.
