If I were you, I'd use the dune buggy and fast tires for snake, although it's just a matter of taste. As are all of these.

I mean I beat Mr X with the 1st monster truck and the slowest tires (AKA the slowest combo). Easy.

Might want to work on your track a bit more ;)
