@JustCallmeM0 To be precise, DotA was a reiteration of a fanmod made for the original Starcraft, Aeon of Strife. However, that was way back in the day when gaming was nowhere near as mainstream as it is now.

LoL and HoN are both standalone games based on the original AoS or DotA, since both of them were released later (like, 2 years ago), when gaming became a more socially accepted hobby, therefor gained a lot more popularity than the original mod.

That is dota.
