Two of my best friends are a happily married lesbian couple. They just fostered four kids and are probably the best parents I've ever met. They care so much about these kids and do absolutely everything for them. Honestly, if I were to ever have a child and give it up for adoption, it would be to a gay couple. Since they can't have children, most know what a gift it is.

The gay couple will probably be loving to the child but why are they dragging the child to that type of lifestyle. The child deserves to live and be raised in a heterosexual world. I think gay people should only drag their own kind to their world and leave the innocent babies alone. If I were a child who grew up with loving gay couple, I would probably wonder why they picked me. Why didn't normal parents picked me. I will love my gay parents but I will have serious identity issues.

Some kids become a target for bullying, some don't. So, if not for having gay parents, ..bullying may be for having red hair or freckles or the way they dress etc..

No, she has never met her biological dad, but has had PLENTY of male role models in her life - my dad, my brother, husbands of my friends, teachers, etc. MANY straight men make crappy role models -thank goodness they are not THE role model as you suggested.

Two of my best friends are a happily married lesbian couple. They just fostered four kids and are probably the best parents I've ever met. They care so much about these kids and do absolutely everything for them. Honestly, if I were to ever have a child and give it up for adoption, it would be to a gay couple. Since they can't have children, most know what a gift it is.

different translations, and then the translation was interpreted, and, again, people argued over different interpretations. so i wouldnt say it's all that reliable. and second - so to god it's okay for animals to be gay but not for people. kinda fucked up huh

The Gospels, for instance, are all in perfectly the same story, just told differnlty. They only argured over very minute details. The main thing you should get from the Bible, is the Jesus is the Son of God and the only way to Heaven. Also, it is not too late to repent and ask for forgivness and ask Him to take over your life completely.

@chaddavis333 Whether God says it's a sin or not is still a major debate even WITHIN Christianity itself, some people do interpret passages to condemn homosexuality (like Leviticus, Leviticus also says we should cast a woman out of town when she's having a period), others argue it doesn't even mention it and it's only an issue with translation that makes it seem so. Others argue since it's almost exclusively mentioned in laws from the old testament the coming of Christ made such law archaic.

The whole issue of Gays adopting or fostering children shouldn't be dealt with in an emotional way. We need to assess the facts.
The whole gay lifestyle is about people who have been damaged by various negative experiences while growing up & have felt less condemed by grvitating to a group of people who see nothing wrong with what they are doing. The problem is that this is a very promiscuos life,with no controls on their urges. There's a reason why aids etc is so prevelant in this group.
