@kzbxvz For the most part, but keep in mind that the Disney Theme parks (arguably the most popular chain of amusement parks behind Six Flags) rely heavily on dark rides. So as long as Disney Resorts is still around, the dark ride will not die. :)

The only thing I remember about Dante's Inferno was the grim reaper, King Kong, and the cool art on the exterior.

After 2007, NY area is losing most of their single railed dark rides except Spook-A-Rama and 1313 Cemetery Way at Adventureland, Farmingdale LI.
