  • This is a great video Carl, I found it on Amanda's channel (8x10or10x12), 5 star/fav! That is something I am having a HARD time w/ as he said, drawing what you see, I definately need eye training ...

  • I don't understand the last part of your question. He was referring to the need to make the hand and eye work and produce the same esult.

    does this help?

  • He is referring to the need for hand eye mind cooperation/coordination to create the soul painting to be revealed

  • I have some pictures of him and his work (at events, and so on) in case you need photos I'll be happy to scan them. I make a living as a portrait artist, and Mr. Rembski's suggestions and example has been inspirational to me. Whenever he finished a new painting, I'd go to his house and photograph it.

  • it would be great to see what you have and maybe do an interview. I enjoyed your portraits, I see Stans influence on your talents.

  • Thank you so much! Stan was indeed a great example, not only artistically, but as person. If you would like to receive some pictures of Stan and his work that I have, you can check my email on my website, and then I can share these photos via email. I'll be happy to contribute to any interview.

  • he spoke across the ages and help us gain greater perspectives on art and life

  • I was fortunate to know Mr. Rembski. I was an art student living a few blocks away when I met him. He was a generous, talented and kind person. After his death, I went to visit Dorothy, and she was very kind and gave me a number of his art supplies plus an old palette, with the dry paint on the sides, like an Old Master's one, that is hang on my wall today. A remarkable man and artist.

  • the two of them were truly open hearted and kind,

    they are missed.

do you have any specific memories?

  • oh yes...

I will never forget when they invited me to The Engineers Club (Stanford White) in Mount Vernon Place, in a lovely historic area in Baltimore. Mr. Rembski DROVE (he was way in his nineties)and we had a delightful dinner. I also invited them to a piano recital at Agi Jambor's house (you can youtube her), who lived two blocks away.

  • Wow, amazing. I have been studying about this artist for five years. I was just wondering what it would be like to have known him in person, and came across this video. Is there more? I would love to see all the footage.
