  • I`ll let others argue as to who was the greatest.

One fact is beyond debate :

Every time Joe Frazier fought....it was unbelievably exciting!!!

Thanks for all the great memories...We love you, Joe!

  • @uglybabashouse2

I never claimed, nor has anyone else ever claimed that I had a chin of granite.

    @Nautilus1972

Joe was better than Ali - LMAO! Let me guess, for the craic, right?

  • Joe was better than Ali ... but Foreman? Foreman knocked him down 6 times and he only lasted two rounds!

  • "chin of granite"....sorry but boxers with chins of granite dont get knocked around the way frazier was by foreman.

  • @tapiaassasin If you had a granite chin and fought foreman you would.

  • @uglybabashouse2 exactly

  • @tapiaassasin Dont start coming on here dissing Joe Frazier. Joe Frazier was known in boxing for being ultra tough and hard as a coffin nail with one of the best left hooks in the business. Have a bit of respect for a true Legend.

  • @tapiaassasin Gettin hit by joe frazier is like gettin hit by a caddilac at 50 miles an hour, while gettin hit by Big george was like gettin hit by a semi at 100 mph.

  • @AngryScotProductions its the other way around, frazier was like getting hit with a cadillac at 80 mph, and foreman was like a mc truck hitting you at 40

  • @messier991102 oops my bad. your right.

  • @tapiaassasin FRAZIER DESTROYED ALI OVER 3 FIGHTS... WHAT MORE DO YOU FUCKING WANT U PUSSY FAG

  • @stillmatic117

Well, besides getting soundly outpointed,he certainly didn't "destroy" him in the rematch, and he was beaten to a pulp and forced to quit on his stool the third time around,so that sorta contradicts your claim,LMAO.

  • @tapiaassasin he outpointed frazier in the 2nd fight because the referee was too pussy to punish ali for holding the back of his head on numerous ocassions

In the last fight, ali came out like a train for 2 rounds, then frazier destroyed him for 9 rounds... then ai had a strong round... so he was miles down on pts... ali came back to his corner and said "cutt off my gloves.. he cant be stopped"

but what ur fogetting is FRAZIER FOUGHT HIM 3 TIMES BLIND IN 1 EYE...

  • @stillmatic117

so you acknowledge that frazier was soundly outpointed then? You didnt seem to refute that.Your analysis of their third fight is proof that you've not seen it.Ali had a clear and decisive lead on the scorecards before frazier quit on his stoool.

And if you're stupid enough to believe that frazier was blind in one eye) then more fool you.

  • @tapiaassasin Tell that to George Chuvalo.

  • @adrenacrumb

As far as I know,Chuvalo was never even dropped against Foreman, just pounded until the fight got stopped.Quite different from being dropped six times.

  • @tapiaassasin Chuvalo was never dropped by anyone but Foreman would have killed him if they hadn't stopped the fight, he still got knocked around.

  • @adrenacrumb -Foreman never landed a clean punch on Chuvalo. They stopped the fight because Foreman was running out of gas and would have gotten his @ss kicked if it continued thus spoiling a huge fight with Frazier!

  • @Icyhotboo How did he break his nose then?

  • @Icyhotboo Also I hope you are joking because it was Chuvalo's corner that demanded the fight be stopped and if you saw that fight I don't know how anyone with eyes would say he never hit him with a clean shot.

  • @adrenacrumb The point in time I was refering to was the two minutes before it was stopped. Not one clean punch and Chuvalo was to busy calming down his pregnant wife (who was hysterical) to protest. His corner reacted to his wife not the reality of the fight. She shouldn't have been there but then Ali wouldn't have been given the chance to expose foreman's lack of stamina.

  • @Icyhotboo Okay, that sounds nothing like what you said the first time.

  • @Icyhotboo I'm not sure if you noticed but all of the announcers there said it was definitely a good call stopping it. I guess you know something the people who wre actually there don't.

  • @adrenacrumb I was also at ringside and Foreman could hardly stand up. In 93 fights Chuvalo was never knocked down and he fought everyone. In two more rounds Foreman would have been through. He was so tired he almost fell down everytime he threw a punch.Chuvalo was also a very good defensive fighter as is attested to by the number of fights he had and how clear headed he is today!!!

  • @Icyhotboo You are clearly a liar and retarded.

  • @adrenacrumb Haven't you ever done anything in your life except armchair quarterback at the people who actually did. I would really like to have you say that to me in person you coward. I may be up in years but that doesn't get by, and I am in very good health even at my age.

  • @Icyhotboo Just to make this clear you said they stopped the fight because Foreman was running out of gas. For that to make sense by they you must mean Chuvalo's corner which means you would be saying Chuvalo wanted Foreman to win.

  • @adrenacrumb When I said "they" either you weren't born yet or your an idiot as I was refering to the people that fixed both Clay/Liston fights... you really are a dunderhead or live in another world where those things don't happen.

  • @Icyhotboo get fucked you lying geriatric cunt.

  • @adrenacrumb I was just looking at your profile. At first glance you seem intelligent until I realized all I was reading was quotes. Nothing original in your mind Santa. Your actually funny, an atheist wearing the hat of a mythological being. I believe I got to the bottom of who you are when through the use of mere words I provoked you to show your true colors. Yes my assessment of you was spot on, a dunderhead! Atheist's and theist's arguing over nothing at all! You have my pity.

  • @Icyhotboo Okay grandpa you got me. "They" made them stop the Foreman fight because he was indeed about to run out of gas and they couldn't have that. And every announcer there was wrong it should have been stopped. And even though you can watch Chuvalo cringing every time he gets pounded by Foreman he wasn't actually hit. You are too smart for me, that is exactly what happened alright.

  • @Icyhotboo You know what would be incredible gramps? If you could show me something from someone who has credentials that actually agrees with your crazy ass. I think I'll be waiting around for a while for that to happen.

  • @Icyhotboo Foreman went through several long distance fights in his return when he was 40, I doubt his stamina got any better than when he was 20. He went hard with Holyfield at 40 so I think you are full of shit.

  • @adrenacrumb Ever hear of "learning". Watch the before and after videos of Foreman you'll see two different fighters. The first a rank amateur the second a professional who learned to pace himself. Please try to refrain from spilling the sewage from your mouth onto your replies to me.

  • @Icyhotboo I don't care how much he paced himself, a 40 year old isn't going to have anywhere near the same stamina as 20. You don't "learn" how to get more stamina.

  • @Icyhotboo Can you not show me any boxing professional who agrees with you on this? I mean even Chuvalo says he was getting hit so I wonder how you got this conclusion when even he doesn't agree with you.

  • @Icyhotboo Let me see if I get this story right. You were at the fight so you obviously knew it was Chuvalo's corner who was yelling to stop the fight, and you decide to tell me that it was someone else who stopped it because they knew George was getting tired? That makes sense how? You were there my fucking ass.

  • @adrenacrumb OK lets do it by the numbers. I never said it wasn't chuvalo's corner who stopped it, in fact I did say that! Reason? his pregnant wife was hysterical=miscarriage . I had a big bet on Chuvalo and had to wait until that chump Clay did what Chuvalo was well equipped to do that night to cash in.. The only mistake he made was mixing business with pleasure by bringing his pregnant wife to the city.

  • @Icyhotboo

I hope you're not serious about that statement...

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRoyalFatness In the last two minutes of that fight which I attended only one of Foreman's punches got through Chuvalo caught all the rest on his gloves where do you think Ali got the idea to let Foreman punch himself out, watching Rocky Balboa? Yes I'm serious. Chuvalo fought 93fights and was never knocked down.

  • @Icyhotboo

I'm sure Chuvalo would have stayed on his feet, but that's not the issue here. Even a tough guy like Chuvalo would not have been able to stand up to George's punches for ever. And not even until George gassed out.

  • @MrRoyalFatness I guess it's like any other fight it comes down to how you see it just as when a fight goes to a split decision. It was stopped and that can't be changed but I actually got side tracked as my intention upon coming to this page was to pay tribute to the late great Joe Frazier. One of the most fierce and exciting fighters to step in the ring. Styles make fights he just couldn't handle George as Ali the boxer did but he sure handled Ali bringing him to hell and back. Good day sir

  • @MrRoyalFatness This guy is borderline retarded or mentally ill.

  • @tapiaassasin My point was that it isn't worth taking Forreman's punches instead of just dropping to the ground, if you try to stay up and take the full force you get murdered.

  • @tapiaassasin FOREMAN 2ND HARDEST PUNCHER EVER...IF HE HIT ANYONE CLEAN LIKE HE HIT FRAZIER, MARCIANO ,ALI, TYSON..THEY ARE GOING DWON NO MATTER HOW GOOD THEIR CHIN IS..WHICH JOE'S WAS. ALI DROPPED AGAINST COOPER, MARCIANO BY A PUMPED UP MIDDLEWEIGHT, FOREMAN BY ALI, HOLMES BY SHAVERS, HOLYFIELD AGAINST TONEY...ALL BOXERS GET KNOCKED OUT NUMEROUS TIMES BUT ONLY A FEW GET UP, FRAZIER GOT UP MORE THAN 6 TIMES..VIRTUALLY NO FIGHTER IN HISOTRY COULD DO THAT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ROCKY

  • @B04Jordan

Funny, because Foreman hits Chuvalo quite consistently with heavy blows, and I don't recall Chuvalo flopping around the canvas like a fish. The difference between Frazier and fighters like Holyfield,Ali and Holmes is that they proved their chins against devastating punchers. The stood up to bombs from the biggest punchers without being dropped that many times, and Frazier never did that.He was a well managed fighter that did well to avoid a puncher for as long as he did.

"The fight of the Century" "The Rematch" and the "Thrilla in Manilla" The best Heavyweight trilogies the sport of boxing has ever seen. RIP Champ the lights are dim for this star who made his contributions to the sport as a great athlete.

  • Rest in Peace, Mr. Frazier.

  • It will be a mistake to go toe to toe with Joe Frazier. He is a great boxer! RIP Joe!

  • RIP JOE!

  • R.I.P JOE FRAZIER! ♥

    (January 12, 1944 - November 7, 2011)

  • R.I.P. you will be missed...

  • R.I.P. Joe Fraizer.

  • R.I.P.

  • Frazier is a great man and warrior. Best wishes from a fan in Singapore.

  • i am from liverpool england and i know joe is the hardest man ever to lace up the man is the true greatest..he is and always will be a rock

  • love you joe

  • It's all a matter of opinion though. The greatest HW's of all time should all be considered on the same level - Ali, Louis, Fraizer, Foreman, Walcott, Holmes, Tyson, Jack Johnson, Holyfield, Lewis, Dempsey, Marciano... they were all the greatest in their own special way. IMO, there is no one definitive greatest of all time. The HW greats are all the greatest of all time. Too bad the HW division completely sucks now-a-days. We need more HW's like the guys from the good old days.

  • @PhukAdvertisements Remove Marciano from the list, lets be honest here, Rocky was good but today he'd be a decent middleweight, 99% of the guys he fought were bums from down the street from his gym. Rocky was good, but history remembers what it wants to remember, I respect Rocky, but he is no heavyweight great.

  • Ali is considered the best because of his beautiful, technical, defensive, counter striking abilities. But to be honest, Ali's legacy wouldn't be what it is now without Frazier. It all comes down to your preference of styles, if you like power punchers who fight viciously, then Frazier is the greatest of all time. If you like brilliant counter strikers then Ali is the greatest. But Frazier is without a doubt one of the two greatest HW's of all time.

  • best boxer ever... hmmm, didnt look that way with foreman.. silly

  • Muhammad Ali the Best

  • Frazier would eat two hard shots just to land his left hook one time!

  • 3:24 was the reminder that ali's not the greatest.

  • best boxer ever? nope.

best fighter ever? you bet your fucking ass.

  • 2:24 - 2:27 OFFFFFFFFAWKK

  • He is a fucking jet!! I can't see his hands!! WTF??

  • He is a legend boxer but he sucks at singing :D

  • Smokin Joe Frazier...My hero, maybe not the greatest boxer in the world but certainly the greatest fighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • But much more respect for Joe Frazier.

  • I really cant deny Ali being the greatest. His mouth was annoying and funny. but he always backed it up.

but going on national television calling a black man an ugly gorilla etc . His kids, family watching is str8 fucked up.

    He could win without that.

But the karma is we havent heard Ali for along time ....for a reason.

Racist times......he took on everyone and stood tall. beating people courage ,willpower, or mouth.

  • @stezothewhitenegro4y just curious..he lost to frazier once right? did you think he backed his ego with that loss?

  • I really cant deny Ali being the greatest. His mouth was annoying and funny. but he always backed it up.

but going on national television calling a black man an ugly gorilla etc . His kids, family watching is str8 fucked up.

    He could win without that.

But the karma is we havent heard Ali for along time ....for a reason.

  • @ 0:01 You totally had me with this tune !!

Great Song , Great Fighter !!

  • the real black rocky should of been the statue of him insteed of rocky balboa he put the place on the map with the ali fights and the town shuts him down like that

  • prime frazier was an animal and would only be bested by 66 ali and 73 foreman. oo much stamina and too relentless for anybody else to deal with

  • he is even not one of the best 10 boxer in the history :(

idiot video the best one 1- marciano rocky 2-muhammed ali 3- lewis joe

  • @badsolja1 idiot comment,fuck off

  • happy 40th anniv of your beating ali

  • ok lets put things at their most basic.when boxing began..it wasnt about who can dance around the ring, who can throw the fastest punch, who can hold on for the longest..it was which fighter can knock the other son of a bitch out and win the fight.Frazier had probably THE hardest punch in boxing ever.he was rock solid tough.he cud take punches all night.and still be coming right on after u.forget Dempsey,Tyson,Bruno,Holyfield,Ruddock,Bowe..Frazier wud have knocked them all right out the ring!!!!!!

  • Joe fought most of his career blind on one eye and still took on the best of the best, take Ali, lost 2/3 but go back to that first loss and everyone said he was robbed on the score cards even today, second time his trainer threw the towel in because he was effectively blind but Joe wanted to go on and was throwing plenty of punches, Ali was telling his corner to throw in the towel and collapsed straight after because he was shattered physically, Ali won the fight by a margin, but Joe beat him

  • @mutley2209

ALi was an ingneious fighter, but all fighers of the 70s were great, ALi swept Foreman who swept frazier.

  • ALI IS STILL THE GREATEST thrilla in manilla

  • if only Joe Frazier had beat Foreman, even just once. I swear, he will be more recognized than ali.

  • Frazier is my hero.

  • Here's the REAL ROCKY--a non-fictional legend.

  • Joe Frazier is the greatest.

  • They don't make them like Frazier anymore. What a fighter and a great man

  • @tazuf Hands down my favourite fighter of all time.

  • Although not my favourite he's still up there with the best of them, him and chico had a massive heart. Roy jones jr and Prince naseem are my favs for their unorthodox boxing style and charisma.

  • Frasier is an amazing fighter and I love the style he had in the ring, but in my opinion, if you're asking who the greatest heavyweight of all time is, then Joe Louis wins.

  • Maybe not the best on the score sheets, but he was a powerhouse of a versatile boxer. Foreman just caught him dipping everyone of his jabs and he followed each one with a nice uppercut.

  • Frazier lives 2 floors below me, stand up guy every time I see him in the elevator!

  • @vanvanj If you ever get the chance let him know that the man got fans all over the world and changed the lifes for alot of people.

  • @vanvanj Really?Say him that Smokin Joe has fans in Kazakhstan too.

  • @vanvanj joe frazier changed my life for the better, just knowing what he came from, what he accomplished, and the good guy that he is... i look up to him and we have little in common. Frazier is gonna go down in history as one of the great humans.

  • @vanvanj wow your lucky let him know hes got fans in ireland

  • @vanvanj i came to see him and the gym was closed

big shame cuz i came from england.

  • @vanvanj realy!!! fuck lucky you did you talk to him?hey can you tell the exact spot so i can find it on google maps? i know its a silly question please man.

  • Anyone Has Any Idea What The Soundtrack Is ?

  • @MikhailxSouthpaw They're all from the rocky movies. and in the midle of the vid it's lose yourself instrumental

  • @uglybabashouse2 Thank You Very Much Mate . ^_^

  • Comment removed

  • Muhammed Ali is the best

  • shut up bitch tits im not retarded.

  • george was just too big for him. Frazier one of my favorite all time

  • too big? lol foreman was the strongest boxer ever, retard!!

  • He lost to George Foreman.

  • Really?! :O check out the whole vid and u'll see I aint forgot about that

  • @uglybabashouse2

cool vid, imo Sugar Ray Robinson is the best boxer ever though, the guy was phenomenal!

  • Yeah I actually belive he is too, but when I made this vid I didn't know as much as I do today. But Frazier is my favorite fighter though, hands down.

  • totally owned by foreman infact

  • Digustingly owned, he had no chance against him. His trade mark left hook was shrugged off by Foreman.

  • @luigi12356

yeah and he would lose to a lot of the greats head to head. I can see Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, and Liston handling him really bad!

  • I belive Tysonwould beat him in the earlier rounds but if the fight got to the later rounds frazier would have taken him, but lewis and holyfield would have gotten their ass whooped, liston maybe but I'm not sure

  • @MikeTysonEatsKids

I don't think so.. at least not the 71 version. Tyson would get drowned in the later rounds, holyfield would probably get outwilled, and I don't know if Liston or Lewis have the heart to do it.

  • love the vid...thanks for sharing..he is my all-time favorite boxer..

  • thanks, appreciate it

  • aye man are there any joe frazier movies?

  • No I don't think so, I heard someone say they were doing one but i don't know...

  • ali's my hero but i have so much respect for joe frazier cos he really was a great fighter. i feel sorry for him as he was the world champion and ali's rival and now he's living in his gym in philly while ali sold his name for merchandising for 50 mil.

  • great tribute champ, well done

  • I just can't understand why Muhammad Ali is remembered more than Joe Frazier? Frazier was better person and his story is more interesting than Muhammad's

  • i agree mate,,,,

  • ali beat frazier 2 out of 3 times, and in none of the fights was ali in his prime. and ali was a poor kid from louisville who became chamo and gave up his throne because of his beliefs, then won it back from george foreman who was thought to be invincible. frazier's story is no where near as interesting

  • Realy?joe wasnt exactly rich he lived on a farm together with his family and they hung up a homemade punchingbag so he could train man when he was young he spent all his days to help his father who only had one arm When he left the farm he had no school degrees He left everything to become a champ and he trained like a maniac, and became a champ and beat the man who they said couldnt be beaten. And man don't try to tell me Ali won 2 times everyone that has seen the fight know frazier won 2 of 3!

  • You are the second man after me in this forum who has brains :D

  • no u retard ali won 2 out of 3 fights, he won the decision, u can bitch and moan all u want that u think he won but the only people whose opinion matters, the judges, say ali won. and yeah frazier's story is interesting but ali was a big part of the social and political issues going on at the time. he was part of the civil rights movement and refused to go to vietnam. ali isnt famous for just boxing

  • lol..he wasnt apart of the civil rights movement..what the hell are you talking about..he refused to go to war due to his muslim religion and beliefs..cival rights movement was about african americans having the same rights as whites and injustice..Ali's refusal was based off of his religion..and part that he was scared to go to war..not that i dont blame him..but dont make him something hes not!

  • @DoctorFUCK69 Frazier was poor as fuck,he beat ali the first time, second time was a draw imo and the third time he would have won if he would have been allowed to keep fighting, ali was pretty much dead by then.

  • @Lacqueras, Muhammad Ali has done more stuff inside the ring aswell as outside, he inspired many people to stand up for what they believed in, just as he did. compared to Joe, wait what comparison?

  • @kingdarius1991 -yea i totally agree, frazier was a great fighter but hes done nothing like what others have done who wer in his position, and now hes a very bitter old man..great fighter tho altho ali and foreman amongst others achieved so much more in and out of the ring

  • @Lacqueras

yea but ol cassius changed his name... and that was the big issue. plus muhammad ali is just a better name than joe fraizer

  • @Lacqueras lets just say the last 2 fights between ali and fraizer ali won them both

  • @c4macho The difference between the 1st and 2nd fight was a knockdown. They gave the decision to Ali because after he lost the 1st fight he started bitching about racism and other bullshit.

  • @Lacqueras wat about the third fight when "thrilla in the manilla" when ali knocked him out inround 14?

  • @c4macho Well, Frazier was old then, he was blind with one eye, he had high blood presure and artritus breaking down his body. Young Frazier delt with Clay easy but if you wanna give Clay some credit for that win just because he's black and did some good things for black people outside the ring then it's your call. But for me Frazier will allways be better boxer and MUCH better guy.

  • @c4macho Just in case. I wonder if you know that when Clay was released from the prison Frazier gave him money to survive and get back in the ring as soon as possible. Clay took the money and when the fight was signed he started calling Frazier an uncle tom, gorilla and other nonsence.

  • Comment removed

  • @Lacqueras

HOW CAN YOU FORGET THAT MOUTH......AND CORNBALL RHYMES? CALLIN JOE A GORILLA.

IN THE RING ALI SAID I'M STIL PRETTY U UGLY.....FRAZIER REALIZED ALI HAD WAXED EYEBROWS.

hE SAID TO HIMSELF ALI THE PRETTY ,FLOATING, BUTTERFLY. WHO STUNG LIKE......WELL HE LEFT RED MARKS.....SMOKIN JOE SAID THIS HO GOTTA GO......BEAT THE GREAT HISTORY

  • @Lacqueras because ali was a noisy guy..he was remembered more than frazier.

  • Joe Frazier is my hero. He is a great role model for young people. HIs work ethic and his decency. He should be admired and respected as one of the best that ever did it.

  • Absolutely! he was a true warrior, man he beat the greatest fighter ever twice, even though they gave the victory to ali in their secon fight... And he only lost 4 times, he lost to just 2 fighters thru his whole career (ali and foreman) man that has to say something about a fighter...
