It's not really a laptop that people want to have stuff plugged into.

And yet Apple have all these plugs and ethernet usb ports etc.

If you think about it, yes the laptop's thin as a wafer but there's more to lug around with it to make it connect to stuff. You'd be better off going and buying a laptop with that stuff build in, at least its all in one piece.

Don't get me wrong. The Air is a good concept. However it isn't practical enough to compete in the market, it is designed for A: Old people. B: People with strength dissabilities. It has 1 USB port, what can you do with that? Run the Superdrive? Now what about your mouse? It's an idea. But it needs to be expanded.

Macbook air is no longer worth anything. it is not even the most smallest computer either. The Dell Adamo is now the smallest. No CD drive and probably easily broken. Not worth it.

The Macbook Air is a waste of money, and here's why:

The whole point of the thing is to be portable, but the thing is, it is not that much thinner then the regular Macbook, and by the time you add the external disk drive, and everything else, it takes up more space then a Macbook.

imagine you are in a officebuilding.

you have to another floor that is far away, so you´re going to take the lift. And you take your macbook with you. it is possible that you drop your notebook accidentally in the small space betheen the edge of the floor and the edge of the lift :D
