You can't treat it before anything happens its not a sickness. Its just said people under this "Can Have" all/some of those problems listed above once they reach that age. I heard people under that syndrome stand more of a chance in getting breast cancer, germ cell tumors or osteoporosis. The usually do have small testicles and a 90% chance of infertility.
I forgot, but it was like XY is the male chromosome but there is an additional X, so it is XXY. 1 in 500 male births is diagnosed with Klinefelter syndrome. Males that are diagnosed with this have no facial hair, taller than their siblings and they grow breasts. Many people do not realized they are diagnosed with this until they are older.
Just to clarify some of your language - not all KS males (or 47xxy males, which is more accurate) grow breasts, some do have facial hair to some degree. My son has this, diagnosed at age 16, now age 20. His doctors were shocked as by all appearances he looked "normal" .
Klinefelter is only for males because to get klinefelter you must have an extra X chromosome. males normally have XY chromsomes, Females XX. An extra X chromsome for men causes this. If women have an extra X chromosome there are no syndromes.

The most frequent complaint I hear from XXY's once they're adult is that they were forced to take T, and blame their Drs for making them take it, whereas in fact at 14 your brother would have been advised to take it by his Drs informing your parents of his situation. Drs generally don't force anyone to take any medication. There is a relationship between Learning problems and criminality.

Klinefelter is only for males because to get klinefelter you must have an extra X chromosome. males normally have XY chromsomes, Females XX. An extra X chromsome for men causes this. If women have an extra X chromosome there are no syndromes.

klinefelters syndrome was discovered by dr.harry klinefelter in the 40´s or 50´s(long time ago)
to this day most people are not karyotyped & screened to see what actual sex/gender/person they are!
more research is needed and more cutting edge questions and discussions must be aired!
the film XXY has given an impression to many that xxys have ambiguous genetalia!
