I've seen some scenes that refered to the saree drop.Basically,women had their top part of the saree fall and exposed the blouse and/or navel,and it really seemed to be a big deal...Why is that?I don't get it...why is the saree ON any different than the saree OFF??YOU CAN SEE THE SAME THING...it's very thin anyway...and it doesn't cover all that much...please,if anyone has ideas on this...

I've wondered for years upon years how these women tie these dresses! I'd see ones overseas and wonder how they stayed up! I'm fluffy and when I saw ladies that were heavier wearing these I'd wondered the same thing. I mean some of my old skirts would end up sideways at the end of the day. lol I'd love to have one of these or more. They are so beautiful. :) Thanks for posting this! Salute.

My mother would have soooo many issues with the way this was tied. If this is how it is tied I could definitely do it on my own but unfortunately my mother has taught me that it should touch the floor(it was a bit high) n all the pleats should b even and that the top pleat should b slightly bigger then the rest, all should match up at the bottom as well. Keeping all that in consideration makes it a lot more difficult
