David's proposal for cutting the number of MPs and reducing salaries is a plus as far as I am concerned. Expenses will now be under close scrutiny so that should not be a problem in future. Party leaders should have the guts to sack anyone who brings the party into disrepute. Brown had opportunity to regulate the FSA but chose not to. Even Gov of the BofE was warning but still Brown squandered all our reserves. Economy of the mad house. Big investors are going elsewhere to build their businesses

No it isn't, In the centre of Europe is switzerland they have a wonderful standard of living and aren't in the E.U. nor are Norway because it would ruin their fishing industry as it has done ours. Such financial stimuli are proving successful, although it would be foolhardy to say we're are totally out of the woods but are heading in the right direction.

The vast majority of Scots don't want him or his party. They have 1 seat in Scotland, might get 3 at the election? A popular SNP in power in Edinburgh. An independence referendum shortly thereafter....?

Britain is a tiny, damp, cold group of islands. It's utterly stupid to think that they would be better acting independently.
It would cost an absolute fortune to administer which would all come from the taxes of what will be smaller countries and will just end up with people moving around Britain anyway for jobs.
England SHOULD be OK as most of the British economy is based here but anyone who leaves will suffer.

This man is avoiding the central issue of our time. And that is monetary reform and the end of the fractional reserve banking system and our debt-based money. We should NOT allow government to borrow money from private banks and make us pay the interest through taxes. We should not allow banks to create new money as credit to then cause predatory lending, housing bubbles and derivatives bubbles.
