thats interesting, I have not heard him refer to the Technocracy "project" before. for me, the social side is the more interesting part, It seems to me, that the social foundation was the failing with the north american Technate of the 1920's. the principles of material resource management are sound, and always have been, but the practical social mechanics always seem neglected by those showing the most interest in Technate Design. If anyone can link me more on his social technate design.
@capricioussole yes he talks about how there wasn't enough understanding of changing behavior and importance of the social imperatives. Most of Jacque's lectures deal with the social/values designs as the primary concern; the biggest challenge we face in change.
I seriously hope someone follows in Jacque Fresco's footsteps when he's no longer around (hopefully a long time away). He's a great Visionary and a great individual. Your life's work has been amazing and well all thank you for what you have done for us. We WILL continue your legacy and save mankind.
@razalin look at my channel. If even a fraction of my ideas get implemented basic food and electricity will be available for nearly free ^_^ of course if you want the food prepared for you then you need to pay for it... fame and old age have dulled Mr. Fresco and he isn't willing to be a force of implementation.
@PinkProgram Well, how it would solve human conditioning which causes the crimes today? There will still, a daily dictatorship in jobs, and power structures which cause unequality and corrupt people. And the problems they cause, which can't be erased, unless the root is fixed. Get it through your head... I could go on and on about the problems.
@laitela01 you could go on and on about the problems but what are you actually doing about them? There will always be inequality, that is what drives progress. I wish humans could stop being apes but then you wouldn't be human would you ^_^ Ending starvation and the energy crisis would remove quite a bit of negative stress from humanity, allowing for more positive change ;D
@PinkProgram Drives what progress? Progress to extinction, yes. Tell me, how is capitalism going to end starvation? What are you so afraid about TVP? Or more so, RBE? The Venus Project is just another way implementing resource based economy.
@laitela01 I wasn't talking about the venus project. I was talking about Symbiotic Farming. Eliminating the need to worry about food or electricity... Why would I be afraid... I barely register that emotion. It is you humans that are terrified of Upgrade ^_^
@laitela01 I'm all for a mixed economic system anyway. Its funny how many people think America is wholly capitalist when you have government funded roads, police and emergency response. The problem is not capitalism itself, it is a corruption of capitalism called corporatism. Corporatism is against true capitalism because that would force down their profits so they try to make monopolies and oligopolies to eliminate competition, which is illegal. Humans being monkeys ^_^
@laitela01 the crimes are larley a result of stress - the crime of theft is impossible in a rbe - if evryone has access to evrything- what would be profitable in taking something that evryone has access too - without money how could you sell it - it would be like stealing air - good luck with selling it
We seriously need to figure out a way to make TVP/RBE have more mass appeal. I'm afraid it's going to be too late soon enough, and by that I don't only mean the state of environment, but also the state of the mind. The frontpage garbage people view in youtube daily alone makes this all very clear. Something has to go wrong for people to start thinking critically, as unfortunate as it is. This video is worth, in terms of informational content, myriad times of what the vblog videos and alike are.
I remember when my local supermarket installed self serve tills. I refuse to use them because I know they will get rid of staff if we use them. In a short space of time all the supermarkets are installing them and I have a horrible vision of going into a supermarket in ten years time only to see that all the till are self serve and the only humans will be security guards with guns, SCARY!!!
i wish for mister fresco and for all of us,that the change comes soon, there is not more time left, not for us and also not for jacque, time to stop dreaming and get it on!
I love this man, everytime i listen to him im close to crying, bcs im afraid of that he wont even see a revolution that goes into the direction he is dreaming of,its the only good way.ppl wake up,talk with other ppl obut this things, about venusproject and the things that happens in the world, geoengineering, policestate has already started, tell it to ppl, when they say youre crazy or laugh start a discussion until they understand,i do it and its not tgat hard like xou maybe think.
He's so right. I'm an engineer and I'm quite aware of the arrogance that lies in so many of us. A long time ago, the engineer used a pen and paper and a lot of hours to make a certain study of a problem. Nowadays, an engineer mostly only needs to make a dozen of clicks on a software and understand the output. There is no doubt that there will be a time when engineers will be out of jobs, specially those who don't develop the skill of creativity because creating ideas is the only thing...
Jacque is talking about Japan of the 50's to early 90's, certainly is not the case any more. Also Japan does not have loads of computer programmers, there is a lack, its the one job foreigners can get without speaking Japanese.
I have always thought quite the same way Mr Fresco does but never quite verbalized it, because i thought if it was that logical to me it would be equally logical to others but i have noticed that the majority of people dont like change, how else can you explain us living in the same shaped houses, wearing the same kind of clothes and still driving four wheels cars with combustion engines. A mass awareness needs to take place for these ideas to take shape, but i am disappointed in my fellow man.
why isn't the whole world talking about the venus project, i dont understand it. When you study the project it becomes self evident that this system is much better than the monotary system. This capitalism is worse than religion.
@TheUntrueFantasy I would say that some people have a high IQ on certain areas of the brain that allows them to see the big picture and how it relates to everything else, but if you are missing this you really are condemned to listen to someone else... like walking on daylight vs walking at night with a flash light or in some cases just by grabbing some's shoulder.
This is how so many people follow a religion and listen to politicians, at least that is what I think its happening.
@TheUntrueFantasy I don't understand it either, everyone should be talking about the Venus Project. What I'm beginning to think; it shows the amount of people that are absorbed into the culture that they don't want to hear something that would change "their" own way of thinking. The Venus Project is MUCH better then current systems but people want a simple answer to their problems. People have known that "money is the root of all evil" but no one can think beyond it...
@RolyatDerTeufel A lot of it is due to deliberate media conditioning.
From the point of view of folks on TV programs like Snooki and 'the situation' and those that idolise them. They see their behaviour is normal and acceptable and that anyone who doesn't behave like they do is a bore, prick and a looser.
Media outlets condition people to believe that this is how to enjoy life, this is how to feel fulfilled. It works once it gets took in kids reinforce it amongst themselves via peer pressure
@jonocosa Please do post what the best solution is.
Make sure to do very heavy research in every aspect and spend a lot of time training yourself to think critically (but you've already done that, right) and explain what those better solutions are.
@TheUntrueFantasy The Monetary System is like a religion. Indoctrinating us from birth, with our fellow followers unquestionably following while the voices from above (money media) effect our thoughts and behaviors through misinformation. People get upset when you question money because they see it as part of their identity and existence.
@darrinEH Yep, even though this system is very fragile and completely dependent upon things that can not even be sustained and have absolutely no relevance to reality. Money, politics, corporations and all of the systems they 'create' are concepts made up by humans to brainwash everyone into thinking that they are all valuable and should be supported, in order to benefit a small % obsessed with the false need of excessive material wealth.
Many people know the system is wrong and failing, but
@darrinEH but have this overwhelming fear of loss; they think "I've worked my whole life playing by the rules of this system, now you're telling me I've done this for nothing?? No way, I'll deny that even if the system is wrong!" then they go on to make up all these irrelevant arguments about how they think things should work, while the system fails.
But as we know, regardless of how much people kick and scream, reality is reality and it is happening.
@TheUntrueFantasy because they don't know what TVP is, even if they heard about it, that's why TVP are working on a major motion picture, to introduce tvp and rbe to milions of people, and then, hopefully, they'll join
Because people dont care, you could make a simple experience like asking people to vote on a poll like this:
a) Do you want to be raised by XX amount
b) I do not want to be raised
Option a) would defenetly win, the point is that I bet with you 40% or more of the voting population wouldnt even vote.
This is a simple example to ilustrate why there will always be inequality, and elites and why many will follow propagandas, demagogy, in the end its all a marketing problem.
Machines don't fuck around, lol.
