thats interesting, I have not heard him refer to the Technocracy "project" before. for me, the social side is the more interesting part, It seems to me, that the social foundation was the failing with the north american Technate of the 1920's. the principles of material resource management are sound, and always have been, but the practical social mechanics always seem neglected by those showing the most interest in  Technate Design. If anyone can link me more on his social technate design.

@capricioussole yes he talks about how there wasn't enough understanding of changing behavior and importance of the social imperatives. Most of Jacque's lectures deal with the social/values designs as the primary concern; the biggest challenge we face in change.

And the problems they cause, which can't be erased, unless the root is fixed. Get it through your head... I could go on and on about the problems.

The problem is not capitalism itself, it is a corruption of capitalism called corporatism. Corporatism is against true capitalism because that would force down their profits so they try to make monopolies and oligopolies to eliminate competition, which is illegal. Humans being monkeys ^_^

We seriously need to figure out a way to make TVP/RBE have more mass appeal. I'm afraid it's going to be too late soon enough, and by that I don't only mean the state of environment, but also the state of the mind. The frontpage garbage people view in youtube daily alone makes this all very clear. Something has to go wrong for people to start thinking critically, as unfortunate as it is. I remember when my local supermarket installed self serve tills. I refuse to use them because I know they will get rid of staff if we use them. In a short space of time all the supermarkets are installing them and I have a horrible vision of going into a supermarket in ten years time only to see that all the till are self serve and the only humans will be security guards with guns, SCARY!!!

He's so right. I'm an engineer and I'm quite aware of the arrogance that lies in so many of us. A long time ago, the engineer used a pen and paper and a lot of hours to make a certain study of a problem. Nowadays, an engineer mostly only needs to make a dozen of clicks on a software and understand the output. There is no doubt that there will be a time when engineers will be out of jobs, specially those who don't develop the skill of creativity because creating ideas is the only thing...

I have always thought quite the same way Mr Fresco does but never quite verbalized it, because i thought if it was that logical to me it would be equally logical to others but i have noticed that the majority of people dont like change, how else can you explain us living in the same shaped houses, wearing the same kind of clothes and still driving four wheels cars with combustion engines. A mass awareness needs to take place for these ideas to take shape, but i am disappointed in my fellow man.

@TheUntrueFantasy I would say that some people have a high IQ on certain areas of the brain that allows them to see the big picture and how it relates to everything else, but if you are missing this you really are condemned to listen to someone else... like walking on daylight vs walking at night with a flash light or in some cases just by grabbing some's shoulder.

This is how so many people follow a religion and listen to politicians, at least that is what I think its happening.

From the point of view of folks on TV programs like Snooki and 'the situation' and those that idolise them. They see their behaviour is normal and acceptable and that anyone who doesn't behave like they do is a bore, prick and a looser.

Media outlets condition people to believe that this is how to enjoy life, this is how to feel fulfilled. It works once it gets took in kids reinforce it amongst themselves via peer pressure

People get upset when you question money because they see it as part of their identity and existence.

Because people dont care, you could make a simple experience like asking people to vote on a poll like this:

a) Do you want to be raised by XX amount

b) I do not want to be raised

Option a) would defenetly win, the point is that I bet with you 40% or more of the voting population wouldnt even vote.
