The best is the Charlotte Hornets at around 0:14. After the New York Stars moved to Charlotte, they simply took an X-Acto knife to the helmets, cut out the "NY" and stuck a Chicago Bears sticker over the empty space, LOL. I grew up in NY and remember trying to talk my father into going to a Stars game. They played in Downing Stadium, a run down toilet under the Tri-Boro bridge with hardly any access by automobile and maybe 15000 seats. He declined, and not too politely.
@1sababoy Wow! I still have some stuff from the Chicago Fire team. I remember we beat the Sharks real early that '74 season at home, but I don't think your team was still around by the time we were supposed to go down there. Didn't you guys have John Stofa for your QB?
hey everybody, does anyone know where i can get my hands on some World Football League memorabilia? you know, Pennants, helmets, tickets, maybe even a jersey or something. Please respond, thanks.
The WFL was the biggest joke of all the "rival" Leagues. Half the teams folded during the first season because they couldn't afford the pay roll.
ditto for the next season, which abrubtly had to end because the league ran out of money. People may mock the XFL, but atleast none of the team in the XFL had to buy their own jersey's because the team owner lost them in a dispute with a cleaning compnay.
Jacksonville Sharks' logo was legit. But bigbobbydahmer is mostly on target... pretty ragged collection of logos. So thornbird, when will you unveil the WLAF collection? London Monarchs, San Antonio Riders, Sacramento Surge...?
Great video, If you need any help getting your videos or channel exposed, i use a service called thetubeviews . net it has helped 5 of my videos get ranked on the first page

The Detroit Wheels' logo (0:24 - 0:26) looked like the head of a 1 wood.

I don't get the choice of Eurotrash House music and the lack of info. I can recognize all the team helmets but then again I grew up in the WFL era.
