The tough part was opening the cockpit window, standing up, sticking his head out the window, at 450 mph, and shouting wooohooo while taking the video.
The part where he mooned the 777, was totally unjustified.
You're a thousand feet above that 777? That means one of you is flying the wrong altitude. Since ATC directs planes flying one direction to fly odd altitude and planes going the opposite direction to fly even altitude.
@491057 anyway - you are always flying altitude you are cleared to fly at. ATC is the boss and while flying in his controlled area, he is responsible for separations and distances between airplanes :)
@491057 dude look up ETOPS flights, there are many specific routes with specified controllers to control traffic flow of these aircraft along these flights, besides there such things as a VFR on Top "Cruise" clearance, if ya don't know what that is look it up...
wow... ung speed is only 250 knots??? isn't that slow???

@GMkiller008 kung di ako mali, mach na yan sa ganyang altitude. mach 0.768 or about 440 knots. i could be wrong, di ako pilot. :)

@pilotokoto where was this taken?

As well as ATC protocol to mention if an aircraft is above or below you and tell him/her to report back when spotted.
CALanceGokongwei 2 years ago
Or the ATC is asleep or flirting with a colleague. Could be many different reasons:P
