Sometimes when a BM and a BW who love each other get to arguing and exchanging words... at some point, "White people" get into the vocabulary.

I'm still not sure what the YouTube definiton of Pro Black is. Some say it means to be for the betterment of black people, but sometimes it means anti-white, it can be both or it can be something entirely different.

As for the claim that "as long as the father is black, the child is black" goes... huh? Let's say the parents split up (and mom usually gets custody), the child would be left with a white mother. A mixed child in the care of a black woman is always closer to his/her roots.

I'm sure that some men would disagree with that, but it's a fact. In most cases, children always have a closer tie to their mother, their nurturer. In the jewish culture, for example, a child born of a jewish mother is considered jewish, but a mixed child whose father is jewish but mother is gentile is not considered jewish at all, which makes sense. If you come from a black woman, you're black. If you come from a woman of another race, well... I guess that's debatable

What MOST people on YouTube mean is the "preservation of Black people".

Regardless of WHO nurtures the child, s/he won't be Black (unless BOTH PARENTS are Black). Some people would argue they'd assume both, but if they are BOTH... then they are ALSO NEITHER (which is more accurate). They are something new and just as beautiful as everyone else.

The child can appreciate one side more... but it doesn't change the fact that s/he's not entirely Black.

That's right. That child would not be genetically black, but when I talk about "black", I'm not just referring to race alone. I'm talking about the history, tradition, culture, and a connection to one's black roots/identity that a black woman and mother of a mixed child can offer; which, are things that a white mother would not be able to offer that child. i.e. Bob Marley was raised by his single black mother; had his mother been a white woman, he'd have been a completely different man.
