@ipodtouchrocks11 you can't restore on iTunes because it won't recognize it. You have to hold home and power botton while plugged in until it goes away and come back then let go of the power button and keep holding the home button. Then it will show the iTunes plug in thing then restore it

this happened to me when i jailbroke what you do is connect your phone to your pc/mac hold the power button and the home button together for 10 seconds then release the power button but hold onto the home button then a message will pop up in your itunes windows sayying a iphone/itouch has been found in recovery mode.there your all set :D

Was it jailbroken and you did a full reset? That destroys the filesystem and puts the phone in a loop, because no OS can be found. Use DFU mode to restore...

just put it in dfu mode and hook it up to the computer, and itunes will let you restore it to how it was when you very first got it(when it was brand new) look at my videos, i got a video that shows you how to put an iphone in dfu mode.

if you do this it will fix your iphone!

There is something wrong with the power buttom. You need to replace the whole part on the back which has power buttom cable. Your iphone will power back up when you disconnect the power cable which connects to the mainboard.

I think u might be able 2 fix it. U might have tried all this and think duh i'm not an idiot!!,I t might not work because u might have damadged the whole phone but it's worth a try.

1. if itunes detects it click the restore button on the summary tab of your iphone

2. restart it by holding down the home button and the power button until the screen goes blank and it starts up again

3. set it into recovery mode
