Carbon Poker sucks ass! Don't waste your time at this site or Lock Poker, they're both the same! Not enough information, small game selection and the set up just blows! Its the dirty circus of Poker sites! To much clowning around with all the stupid bells and whistles. It feels like they're marketing to children and women with all the nonsense! If you're just a Poker Player that enjoys playing a solid game of poker to sharpen your over all skills then this isn't the place for you!

@stephenlandrum no im not joeseph cheong...i also want to add 4 the ppl who r thinking of joining carbon do it... a few years ago i decided to start my poker road there and was gona build a nice BR and take it to FTP or PS but im makeing to much a day to consider leaving...plus it has tons a great freeroles,great cash games, tournys 4 all players, and tons of great features.... so if u have any kind of talent or will to be a great poker player i think carbon is the best choice

and why would the two biggest poker rooms be scamming their players?

they would never be able to get away with it, because intelligent players would be able to catch on and file a lawsuit if it were true..scamming would be more doable at these smaller sites

So if you're going to play online, I definately think you can't go wrong with carbon.(Live poker at a casino being the best first option, of course) carbon is slowly growing, and the player base is increasing - so I think good things are happening - give carbon a shot. As for the knucklehead posting below, please! Somebody flopped a monster and busted your big pair and you paid him off. Get over it! And if it hurt you that bad to lose 400 you obviously were playing with your entire bankroll :-/

@Ayoudell actually i had 2k in my bankroll, 2/4 dollar blinds, i was playin at 3 tables, this bot person was beating everyone at all tables. he was sitting in 5 dif tables and bankrupting everyone. All internet sites are a joke. But the biggest joke is pokerstars.

It's pretty tough to get involved in/win large pots, at least at the stakes I'm playing right now - I have been watching players at the higher stakes, and those games seem to be a little looser, more desirable for a player with my style/philosophy. But as far as Carbon's integrity, I trust it more than any site I have ever played - no desire to play on Jokerstars or Full Tilt(appropriately named) again, as I am fully convinced those sites are a complete scam. I just wanted to update my thoughts on carbon since it's been a few months - still doing pretty well on there, but it is possible to use tracking software with a converter that makes it possible to dump the hand history data into Hold 'em manager, for example. Still I don't think alot of the players I've played with are using software, however. The only thing about it is at 25NL the play seems pretty tight, poor guys like me trying to grind out a bankroll - (con'td)

carbon poker is rigged. the ring games are rigged. not the tourneys. i lost to a bot 400 bucks, i had QQ, he had 44. the flop came out 3 4 4. and the player was a bot

I had just about lost all faith in online poker - until I started playing at Carbon. I'll never play at Jokerstars or Full Tilt ever again-Carbon blows them away. No PokerTracker allowed! The best hand seems to hold up at the rate that it should here - no more pushing in on the flop with a flopped set and losing to a flush on the river 90% of the time(thx Jokerstars!) or playing KK all in PF and losing to AK or AQ 75-85% of the time. If you play live mainly, you've found your poker site.

Good review, I really like Carbon Poker. Best poker room software ever. You can expose one card, two cards, do a rabbit hunt and on special tables you can even "deal it twice".

Normal $50 freerolls are every 4 hours (including NL Holdem, Limit HORSE and Limit Badugi).

Since a few weeks Carbon Poker got a new award system Instead of comp-points you get VIP points. Of course you can get merchandise and so on with these points.

Also they have different VIP levels with different benifits.

nice review. one other interesting thing about the site is apparently they allow rabbit hunting if someone requests it.
