This is MUCH closer interpretation to the book than the actual movie. Good job! I cannot understand how they turned what should have been a third-person, documentary-style, and dreamscaped classic into a shooet-em up thill-ride. You're styling is SO much more genuine and caring of the characters. Just need to replace the .45 with a 6-barrel pistol. Great work!
You're 22 mister! You should know by now that we humans are destroying the earth by pollution. AND that the earth cannot sustain that many people. Our world population is growing at a staggering rate. Apocalypse? The world doesn't end in just one blink of a second. It dies gradually, like The Road. It not gonna be pretty with all your floods and meteors blasting everything up and then God shows up, NO! I refuse!
Second, I don't know where you're coming from, because I agree with everything you just said. everything. My first comment was directed at you saying that "America would be first". Kind of jumping to conclusions, aren't you? I'm not saying we're the best country right now, but we're not THAT fucking evil.
Hollywood could throw a hundred million dollars at the works of Shakespeare and still the best they could do is some steaming turd. Haven't seen The Road yet, and I can't speak for other folks, but I'd take someone's personal rendering over the studio any day! Well done!
This is [petty bad. Way too sunny and green outside for the world to be covered in ash. And those starving people didn't seem too thin or malnourished since they were able to run to the steps.
I don't remember the man and boy being chased by the canable peopel outside. i thought they got away and hid in a ditch before the canables saw them. I mean the people outside by canables-not the people in the basement-i think those are the poeple who were being eaten by the canables.
I remember when they escaped from the house that had the people under the floor. The boy and dad escaped without being chased that much and stayed the night where they hid and heard screams from the house. That was my favorite part of the book.
Great job. you actually gave me chills. special effects needed work but hey you aren't hollywood and you aren't a millionaire. I absolutely have to give you a pat on the back for this
my favorite scene from the book you guys captured it perfectly just how I'd imagine it in the movie. Great job. The papa thing was repetitive but it never got too annoying for me.
This clip accurately portrays the charcters and mood in the book. I think both actors did an outstanding job! From reading the book the kid in this clip is exactly like the boy in the book. The boy in the book says papa many many times which makes this clip very accurate to the book. Besides there is no point in picking on the kid who was acting here since he was just reading the script and following the actions of the boys character.
WOW!!! This is a really good job film! I was personally inpressed by the talent of the two actors especially the child. I think he did a great job filming this! He showed a lot of emotion and made the film very believable. I see a successful future in the business for this kid! Good Job! Two thumbs up!
This is by far the best I've seen. I'm researching for a project and this is the closest I've seen to the book. If someone hasn't read "The Road", I don't think they realize how many times "the boy" says "papa" and "the man" says "okay" LOL I think they both did great...nice work
me encanto!! la verdad lei el libro y al pincipio me parecio un poco aburrido de que describia absolutamente todo lo que fue algo cansado, la verdad es un libro muy bonito y lo recomiendo ojala ya salga la pelicula!!!!
Not bad

Bloody well made. Who did this? The quality of the shots and the timing of the opening scene, pretty impressive if you did it on a budget. Well done.

JUST America? Last time I checked, the apocalypse is a worldwide phenomenon, not secular to just one country.
Idiot.

good effort, but the John Hillcoat came along and totally showed you up. That is the music from 28 days later hey?
Nick Cave & Warren Ellis rocked the music for that scene. I'm not allowed to play it in the house because it disturbs my girlfriend too much.
Such and amazing story, this.
