i only went till the third "stage".. after we destroy some flying thingy, we fly to the moon's surface..

also, there is a long press attack which penetrates armour :)

I don't know about Magmax, but it had a lot of games with differently spelled names. Like Gradius was Grading, Adventure Island was Islander, SMB 1 was Mario Bros. II, that sorta thing. It also had a few versions of Pac-Man in there as well.

I think that I have same multicart too, and my version have pacman too, and some "super" versions, like fast bros II where mario always run

Nice footage! Funny how the lack of BGM stands out much more when watching than playing. You always feel occupied (pressured?) while playing. Boxed in by obstacles or worried about fuel.

What I don't think some will realise is the fair bit of practice and timing it takes to do some things you did here, especially jumping over ground obstacles. Due to the scrolling and weak gravity, it's easy to mis-time.

Alas I digress. Me and F-Z was love at first sight :)

Mmm, my death was a timing error. Different things like jumping in this game, knowing when to pull back, and the like definitely become natural with practice. This game does have a learning curve, and even at that some of the enemies can take you by surprise (albeit minus the lovely eyes).
