Indigenous includes the native Britons (Celts/Britons/Picts etc) But I would extend it to include people of north western europe that have forged our nation such as the Angles, Saxons, Normans, etc. The people that exist in much of rural Scotland I would give as an example of indigenous, even though they may be descended from Vikings, Irish etc. I personally can trace my ancestry 1000 years back directly to Kenneth MacAlpine. 1940s Britain was 'indigenous' enough for me, 2009 Bradford isn't.
