Guess youre using serato to control vci 300, u can "bridge" to sync it with ableton live 8. So simple. No need for an additional laptop/pc.

How do you use the fast track with the axiom I have both if I connect them both to my mac when I switch the ft on it cuts out the sound from the axiom

@rentatrent well then what do you consider dj-ing? I consider it the process of mixing tracks to a steady tempo. That's what it was 20 years ago and thats what it still is today. Sorry if it makes you mad that he isn't sitting behind a pair of technics but he's still mixing regardless.

What kind of audio interface do you have? I bought something called a Numark DJ IO, but it was a piece of crap. Anyone have any suggestions?

Man that depends for what you need the audio interface for. For example: If you work on a pc, it doesn´t really matter what kind of AI you have. If thats the case M-audio ones are a good choise. If you got a mac or a pc and you want to work with pro-tools, you will need an DigiDesign Audio interface to make it work. There are some bundles that already bring pro-tools LE with the Digidesign audio Interface. Its always a good choise.

Usefull tip -

On your axiom you can adjust the sensitivity of your knobs. It looked like you had too turn them along way for the effect to really work. I have a 49 so its different to do than the 25 but if you go on the maudio site they'll show you how to do it. nice work.
