nokia n8 could have been a huge success if it had a 1ghz processor, better resolution screen, good competitive browser, larger screen (later used by the e7), 720p at 30fps not 25. an awesome tempting camera with great build quality, HDMI, symbian but the phone is slower than most of its rivals! why couldnt nokia put a 1ghz in the n8???

okay there's an official youtube app for the n8! and it pretty awesome! so that comparison is off the table... second you dont seem to know how to handle the device you have to swap between webpages when you wanna go "back" on the browser you cant drag them...

Where`s the Fm transmitter in galaxy S? Where`s the USB-OTG in galaxy S? Which battery last long? Yes, Symbian is kind of ugly but do the job VERY WELL without waste battery with unnecessary graphics. Nokia went completely crazy ending Symbian.

you can't really compare the video and photos when the N8 has a 12mp cam and the other is only 5mp...

I've got a Samsung coming as I like the look of it more than the N8 and other smartphones I've seen..

Nokia is going to release N9 with Meego OS. But features are similar like Galaxy S.

4.0 inch screen, 1Ghz processor. But they will have 1GB ROM and 512 RAM.

The good thing is they are giving TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, on which videos are more natural.

Nokia N8 only win Camera and Dolby Sound. Others are Samsung Galaxy S for sure. Bet in mind, higher MegaPixel does not means the clearer or perfect picture taken, it only affects the size of the pictures.

Nokia N8 does not have just higfher number of megapixels. N8 has also good quality Carl Zeiss optics, Xenon flash and most importantly a big sensor. N8's sensor is bigeven when compared to many digital cameras. In many independent reviews N8 has beaten many Sony and Canon cvameras.

No. Actually N8 takes wery nice photos and videos in low light conditions too. Big sensot and Xenon flash really do matter a lot. In Flickr there is over 140 really nice photos taken during development of N8, and there is also nice examples of photos taken in low light conditions. You really should check those out. I have N8 and I can condirm that it takes wery nice photos and video even inside and when there is not much light.
