A friend and Marine buddy forwarded this to me. I am glad he did.
I was there on May 8th. D 1/4 3rd Platoon. My name is Jim Gervasio AKA Sgt. G, Sgt.Gervasio. I have alot to talk about but I'll do after I get my thoughts together.
no mention of C1 , C2, C3 & C4 that stretched west of Con Thien -- and a shout out to the guys from C.Co 3rd Eng Blt who did the sweeps down to Cam Lo and then west to the bridge and onward to the Rock Pile and the guys that did the road from Vandergriiff east to the Rock Pile -- also the group that got ambushed on the morning of the 26 or 27th (69) of July that were supposed to meet up with the rest of us as we were preparing to leave country... god bless you all...
If hell ever needed another name it would be called Con Thien.....semper fi marines.

Thanks for posting the video. Too many great guys were lost there but you honor them by remembering their sacrifices and courage.
