@henkman00 I don't do any kind of drawing so it is hard for me to say what drawers need in a computer display. The resolution of this monitor should be fine but if color accuracy is important I would look for a display that uses a high end IPS panel instead of the twisted nematic(TN) panel used in the sx2210. IPS technology provides much better color accuracy and also wider viewing angles compared to a TN panel

My dad had this monitor, then he gave it to me, but the web cam won't work. How do I set it up? Do I need the liked install disk or what do I need to do?

@TxCardinalFan You can use the disc that came with the monitor or you could download the webcam software from Dell's site.

hi all, just wondering comparing with another brand? sample LCD monitor by Samsung? the true is Samsung is more expensive than Dell's Monitor. that's why i bought Dell's monitor, cheeper but awesome :p

A review I read up on said it's very fast, and doing Crysis didn't notice any ghosting.

Good brightness and contrast and resolution is good for gaming too.

HDMI might be good for some things too.

Yea I find this monitor is great for games. I pretty much just use my system for gaming and the contrast and colors are very good. Also there is no ghosting that I noticed in any games.

It is really reflective and since you have large glass doors behind where the monitor would go I would say it would be very annoying. I'm not sure it would be too glaring normally but on dark scenes it would be noticeable.

What is the height of the monitor and stand? The monitor is supposed to be 15.63 inches, but what does the stand add to this height? Thanks!

How bad exactly is the glare? My monitor would be used mostly in a finished basement , problem is that there are a pair of double doors across the room that the sun is always shining in. Bad enough to hamper quality?

I agree 100% about the glossy screen they are just not good in environments with a lot of light
