  • Get a bunch of PCs. Macs are overpriced and hard if not impossible to upgrade.

  • My school is getting an iPad computer lab

  • every single kid at my middle school gets there own netbook and we get to keep them and there gunna keep doing this for ever

  • Mac = overpriced

    PC = reasonable price

    Mac = confusing to upgrade

    PC = easy as hell to upgrade

    Mac = sexy

    PC = ugly but gets the job done better

    PC wins fair and square

  • @mclmatty

    Wins fair if all you want is a box of circuits and a cheap computer.

  • @mclmatty Mac = easy to use PC = extremely hard to use Mac = more advanced in every way PC = still running off of 32 and 64 bit Mac = slim to none chance of getting a virus PC = atleast 1000 within the first month Mac = faster and sleeker PC = slow as hell because microsoft is so cheap they can't even afford good harddrives Mac = iPod, iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air, MacPro and others PC = Windows Phone, Netbook, and others Mac = Updates every 6-11 months PC = Updates every 2-5 yrs Mac wins! :|>

  • Hi there, just have a question regarding the desigining or installing of computers. Question is "how can you install 30 computers using one router?Five of the computers are located in the office an 25 of them are in a bigger space/room. Distance between the rooms are 400 meters. So again, How can you install all(30) computers with one router?

    thanks

  • Whoa! What school district is this? Our crappy district cann only afford Dells. Your shcool has better funding than ours since it can even afford to give the teachers macbooks.

  • we have hp's... they are horrable and slow... they have core duo in them!

  • so... what the heck is the mac classic in the beginning for...???

  • did you make a disk image and put it on a xserve. cause me and my teacher did this over the summer. you just make an image. create it. then we put it on a xserve on the network and reimaged a whole buncha macbooks

  • fuckin mac

  • when i worked at my school over the summer all the IT guys loved pc making me the only mac guy there but it didn't really matter though, i got the last word in because i was on the cleaning crew and when we cleaned the computer room ... just about every network jack was unplugged and ever computer was not in the right place so haha to them btw there was a bout 25-30 computers in there so a little bit of a headache

  • sweet

  • Hey nice video. I have a question. How do you connect all the iMacs to a single computer and do you reformat them all at once? I'm asking this because I administrate A bunch of classrooms full of macs and I need advice to how to do it better. Thanks

  • Sounds like a question that an IT should be asking.

  • I am Kind of. And why the hell is my comment rated down two times???

  • Because that is not a question that a IT should be asking.

  • Why not? WTF?

    You just said something opposite to what you said before.

  • wow that guy is weird but to do that it think it might be easiest to go into firewire target disk mode and install all of the OS's from there but i don't really know

  • That would probably the easiest way, but then I got to get a lot of FireWire Cables.

  • not really i'm saying it would be easier because all you need is one disk in one big machine and then install the os one at a time into each imac ... so the benefit is the ability to have one good fast optical drive and not change the disk around to 20 or 30 computers
