The Dillards were and still are a very good bluegrass band!!!!!!!!!!!! They are true to their roots. I have always enjoyed listening to their music. People who say mean and nasty things about other people are just plain jealous, because obviously they aren't musicans theirselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lead singer is Rodney Dillard. He now lives in Branson, Missouri and still has a group that performs. My wife and I just saw their show in Salem, Illinois and they did a great job.

In Seattle we have this 'event' called folklife, where 100's of mediocre jug bands come and play. As I walked amongst them I kept thinking of this song. Of which none of the bands came close to matching.

True jug music\bluegrass takes years of practice and dedication. The cats in this band are a testiment to that. Listen to that banjo! Just incredible.
