This song takes me back to 3rd grade (1993/1994). My family were going to Cali to go to Disneyland for the first time.... and we listened to this song cuz it's one of my dad's fav songs. I agree with everything you've said about Yiruma. I actually dislike most of the original songs that you make improvisations of. They are too easy and sound too thin, if you know what I mean. I love the fact that you use so many notes to fill the songs up, especially in the left hand and that you create a flow in your improvisations. I'm happy that you turn them in to something I really enjoy playing. (I'm your age and I can almost play all of them haha, but I still fail at improvising ...sigh)

Alot of what music has to offer lies in the power of interpretation. You still play it well. Its just a different style of music. As for his repetitive measures, it seems that his style seems to be derived from classical Asian music. It has lots of repeating notes and verses.
