  • electro, this implies you're young enough to conceive. Remember, marriage isn't about socially accepted sex and a tax break.

Marriage is about being willing to suffer terribly to aid your spouse toward heaven; it's about willingness to conceive, bear, and raise children. If the two of you aren't about that, I would rigorously question whether your relationship truthfully merits the term.

    Legally you're married.

Do you have the courage to live out married life in it's truest sense?

  • There is a CPC down the street from my home that really disturbs me. They actually call themselves "Crisis Pregnancy Center". It's a shoddy-looking bungalow, with the blinds down most of the time, a poorly-maintained parking lot with usually one sole car parked, and light-up "OPEN" signs that look like they belonged to an old Quiznos. My heart breaks every time I pass by it.

  • @electrogeek77 Why does your heart break? Because babies are being saved at that CPC, pro-abort?

  • The late Great John Paul the Great says in his Encyclical Letter, Evangelium Vitæ, "The moral gravity of procured abortion is apparent in all its truth if we recognize that we are dealing with murder..."

  • she had the baby. her baby is alive. this is a happy ending.

  • @lovelylisa135

Impressive mental capacity you antis have - not.

  • Hmm. So...I gather you all must know by know of Lila Rose, who's demonstrated the..ideas..presented by Planned Parenthood clinics in various places about the country? And yet, though you're capable of creating this series of videos, supposedly highlighting the dishonesty of Crisis Pregnancy Centers, you're not capable of accomplishing similar work to hers?

    Not very convincing, ladies.

  • @jflare291

NARAL has done sting operations in these fake clinics. Got some of their federal funding removed.

So not very impressive research on your own question by you.

  • @loner1878

One pro-lifer gave us video documentation of PP providing misleading info. Her actions spawn investigations by at least three state's Attorneys General.

PP releases a video of alleged lies and suggests that NARAL has caused federal funding to be pulled.

The former implies definite criminal action. The latter may merely suggests losing political favor.

You've proven you're mad. Not much more.

  • @jflare291

Investigations that failed to go anywhere, let me point out.

NARAL's investigations on CPC misleading and false advertising practices got city councils of Baltimore, Maryland and Austin, Texas to pass ordinances requiring CPCs to have signs in their front windows informing women of services they don't provide and got them removed from phonebooks.

  • @loner1878

I've heard. How sad. NARAL persuades these cities to violate others' free speech rights by insisting that they, NARAL and/or pro-choicers, have the sole right to define what services may be offered. Oddly, they've never bothered to put it to a vote of the people.

Seems that NARAL et al only wish to follow the law when they can manipulate it to their own intentions. Any other time, they claw against it in any way they can.

  • @jflare291

Intentionally tricking people and misinforming them is NOT free speech. Define what services may be offered? The sings say that abortion services are not offered, which is the simple truth. Do you have a problem with truth? Its funny how CPC's depend on lies and false information, isn't it?

  • @loner1878

Tricking someone assumes that there's general agreement regarding what constitutes CPC services. NARAL and others wish to condemn those who don't include abortion in that. NARAL and others are guilty of lies and false info, not the CPCs that wish to actually help people.

  • @jflare291

CPC's falsely pose as women's health clinics and get themselves listed under "abortion services" in the phonebook. They also have no medical staff and give false information such as the lie that abortion causes breast cancer. That is intentional deception. Funny how you seem so opposed to "lies and false information" only when its not in your advantage.

  • @jflare291

"Never bothered to put it to a vote of the people?" Excuse me? Do you have any idea how many supporters put together petitions and campaign for voters? Its by public support of voters the ordinances against CPC's were successful.

Most of this country is pro choice, but I know actual facts like that are very inconvinent to your side.

  • @loner1878

These votes you mention are no surprise.

When a people has been fed the usual garbage of pro-choice rhetoric for 40 years, you can expect that virtue will have a tough time making headway.

Deny it if you like, but life will win out eventually.

  • @jflare291

So votes only count if you agree with them? LOL, typical.

  • @loner1878

'Fraid I can't continue this conversation, I've got to go to work. It'll be interesting to see whether the pro-choice influence grows or shrinks these next few years. From pro-life marches to candidates, I get the impression the pro-choice crowd has begun to..lose impact somewhat. It may be only a matter of time.

    Good luck.

  • @jflare291

Keep dreaming if it makes you happy. There is a strong pro choice lobby and candidates, the March For Women's Lives (2004) was the largest march in history.

You can make abortion illegal but let me promise you it will do no good. The need for it will remain and all you do is make it unsafe. I grew up in a country where abortion was illegal in ALL cases and saw the terrible consequences. Obviously you've had the luxury of not witnessing the effects of illegal abortions.

  • @loner1878

There's also a VERY strong pro-life lobby! Pro-choice groups insistently distort truth and flatly lie regarding the impact of abortion on society. Thankfully, many women are now exposing the horrors we've inflicted in this way.

You're horrified by the effects of illegal abortions, eh? I'll have to change my view from another discussion. By your comments, I gather you've had entirely too little exposure to the bloodshed we're inflicting now.

You NEED to see the current genocide!

  • @jflare291

"Genocide?" What a load of BS. Where are the pregnant women being forced onto trains and forced to abort?

But of course its your side that runs on misinformation and lies to begin with.

You have no idea of the negative impacts of illegal abortion on society.

So, let me ask you something. What should the punishment be for women who have abortions?

  • @loner1878

People don't need to be hustled onto trains or forced anywhere for a society to inflict mass murder. Even so, many women ARE "forced" into abortions by boyfriends, employers, and family.

Punishment? You haven't listened to various awareness campaigns, such as Silent No More? Women are already suffering terribly.

If you wish to believe "safe" sex acceptable, be my guest. I'm curious though, why you refuse to teach chastity or abstinence to anyone?

    That's the safest birth control.

  • @jflare291

Do you share the same concern for women forced into giving birth or giving children up for adoption by boyfriends, employers, and family?

I don't listen to BS propaganda like that. But you said you consider abortion to be murder and genocide - if you're not going to punish it the same way then how can it be considered the same crime?

  • @jflare291

Defintion •Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.

So you're telling me there is a systematic and deliberate targeting of all fetuses for destruction? XD

  • @loner1878

    A few final thoughts:

    1. Review the truth RE Margaret Sanger.

    2. You don't place all women under the same stamp, why treat men that way?

    3. I well understand you despise traditional values and ideas like marriage or being ladies and gentlemen. Keep in mind, these have always been the bedrock of society, whether you like it or not.

I wish you luck and God's blessings.

  • @jflare291

I know the truth about Margaret Snnager and sadly for you its far from the distorted image your side has invented about her.

    2. Funny you claim that I do, yet you implied all women who have sex are "harlots" and the duty of avoiding sex should fall on them alone.

    3. Right, a few sentences and you somehow assume I "despise" traditional values. Learn to read - I said things would be better if all people could be married before having children.

  • @jflare291

    (continued)

So tell me, wat do you define as "ladies and gentlemen?" My great uncle was a gentleman by all standards (stood up when women left the table, opened doors, had the mannerisms) but behind closed doors drank and beat his wife and kids.

You want to chicken out of the discussion and run? Fine by me.

I almost feel sorry for you. You have a very limited knowledge of the real world around you and seem to spew intolerance and lies about whatever you don't agree with.

  • @jflare291 My husband and I never want to have children. Should we use abstinence, too?

  • @loner1878

Seems to me that abortion isn't necessarily quite the issue that you need to address here. Seems to me you have a grave need to actively educate women with regard to what sorts of characteristics they should look for in men. ..And, perhaps it'd be wise to actively discourage women from being sexually active?

How can any woman have any scrap of dignity if her "boyfriend(s)" persistently treat her like a harlot? How can you solve that basic problem by aborting the pregnancy?

  • @jflare291

Planned Parenthood and NARAL both advocate birth control and safe sex practices. But its certain people who are against teaching accurate sex-ed in schools - usually the same crowd that ironically opposed abortion at the same time.

Can I ask why you think its apparently only women who need to stop being sexually active and not men?

So a couple in a devoted long term relationship or married couple having sex = a woman being treated like a harlot? Nice try.

  • @loner1878

Only rarely have pro-choice persons even acknowledge the man involved, unless it's to accuse him of rape, abuse, whatever.

I notice that there's never any interest in challenging women to be ladies, nor men to be gentlemen. Small wonder then that we'd have so much difficulty.

You can't have any human dignity when both sides use each other for lust.

If you wish to believe that an ignorant concept, you likely won't appreciate my mandate for marriage first, will you?

    Too bad.

  • @jflare291

That first claim of yours is so full of BS its not even worth taking seriously. Didn't you just say most men force women to get abortions in the first palce?

What does being a lady/gentleman have to do with anything? Abortions were common in the past, so the old illusions of "ladies and gents" are pretty much wishful thinking.

Can you explain that mandate for me before quzzing me on it? True, things would be less complicated if all people married but its not realistic.

  • Did they actually lie to you? If you would have had an abortion you would not have that lovely baby that you have.

  • There is a great documentary on HBO called '12th & Delaware' which exposes the misleading tactics these CPC's use. The woman who runs the place is a walking mass of hypocrisy... their concern is most definitely NOT with women and their children. If you get the chance I'd watch it!

  • those kind of people are psycho and need to get a life.

  • "There is always hope, and there is always choice." Love it. Definitely don't give those "counselors" at the CPC the satisfaction of thinking they were behind your choice. Women are capable of making their own decisions, and when they are given REAL information and UNBIASED resources, they can make the BEST choice for THEM. THANK YOU NARAL FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!

  • Many people don't know what these "clinics" are about. They usually don't have health care practitioners on staff. The "Dr" discussed in the video could have been someone dressed as a Dr. Then they harass her to know what she has decided to do? What would these people have done if she said she was going to have an abortion? Clinics often harass women AND their friends & family (who might not have known about the pregnancy). See the harassment daddyfilesDOTcom/2010/07/13/abort-protesters

  • Excellent video. When someone hears that I am pro-choice, they hear that as if I am pro-abortion. I am "pro-what is best for the woman" and support whatever choice she makes! I am pro-choice and pro-child. I want a child to be birthed because it is wanted, not because a woman should "pay for her actions"!

Setusstraight, you are so right. Choice is choice and whatever choice is made should be supported! These clinics are purposefully deceptive and cruel.

  • CPC should be banned!! That is absoultly stupid what they did to her. Fuckers...

  • What a brave woman to tell her story publicly. It's so horrible those jackasses would try to manipulate women into making the decision THEY see fit rather than the decision the woman sees fit.

  • But I like this video. It says you have the CHOICE on whether or not to abort. You never have to if you do not want to. It's not pro-abortion, it's pro-choice. Thanks for uploading her story.
