The fact that Musa believes that when he went to church on Sunday he was handed "wine" shows that he never learned the first thing about Holy Mass or Catholicism. This is unfortunate.

Quran is entirely a different book. It is in abstract form. MashaAllah, I grew up in catholic schools, my family used to be friends with priests and nuns and I never learned so much about the bible until I became Muslim for the grace of Allah S. W. T. I never learned principles that Islam teaches, humility, patience, charity... and much more, I am learning now what I was not taught ever before, how to be a good neighbor, daughter, mother, wife, and most of all the Tawheed and love for our Prophet swas, I've been blessed with this deen, Subhana Allah.

Every religion is religious but human beings are always the sinners,no matter how religious you are,we are still sinners and cannot be faded away until the last judgement day,therefore that doesn't mean we have to leave our own religion to follow other religion,we must do good to others,pray and be helpful and forgive our enemies which is the most difficult task to do.PRAISE THE LORD and PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL.

The fact that Musa believes that when he went to church on Sunday he was handed "wine" shows that he never learned the first thing about Holy Mass or Catholicism. This is unfortunate.
His darkness resulted from a total lack of formation (happens a lot these days) followed by total lack of discipline to learn and follow a Sacramental life as an adult.
Did Musa ever read the Catechism? I'd love to know. Did he ever bother to talk to a priest regarding idolatry and his other concerns?

@kingofallguitarheros if he feels he's on the right path right NOW then that's fine, but there's no need to justify it be belittling the faith that you never bothered to learn anything about. the guy talks like a sage critic about the Old/New Testament yet by his own admission he never was a practicing Catholic and was too lazy to seek counseling from a Priest about what he did find troublesome. Not a big shock he left the faith.. but the Monday morning Bible/Pagan critique is rather hollow..

What happened Biblically or otherwise to make folks think it's alright to eat PORK after being told NOT to eat it? It's a test for mankind. Who is going to obey GOD and NOT EAT PORK? Who is going to DISOBEY? If it tasted bad we'd have no trouble leaving it alone .And yet, people eat every limb of a pig's body. Snout to tail. Jesus (peace be upon him) didn't eat PORK. And never gave permission to eat PORK. So why do some Christians eat it?

Ultimate guidance comes from Allah. Calling Allah a "schemer", doesn't deprecated His Power to guide whom He chooses to guide. Commentors, don't argue with people who desire to bring negativity to this brother's conversion/reversion. We know Allah doesn't have to scheme.This is an action akin to man. Islam will stand on its own merits. May Allah continue to guide and keep us on the straight path. Ameen!
