  • If he didn't have those chicken legs, and if his lower body was just as well developed as his upper body, I would be impressed. The fact is that it's easy to perform a human flag pole and do all those moves if your upper body is far more developed and stronger than your lower body.

If his legs are skinnier it doesn't mean their not strong, it actually makes him pretty nimble, take Bruce Lee for example, or other martial artists, they're pretty skinny from head to toe but they're way stronger than they appear, an this guy's legs aren't that skinny at least not from the knee up... and beside upper body strength, he's got "core" strength, it takes an entire body strength to get this done!

All I need is more strength to play Division I basketball (as I've been told) and If I had strength like this I could play DI easy, so please reply.. Do you take any supplements? and how did you start your journey to become this strong? I just need some feedback on how to gain muscle.. Jack3d and protein isn't really doing the trick

  • You don't have to do WEIGHTED leg exercises to build muscle on your legs, he could be doing pistol squats ( which will build some serious legs ) and or sprinting ( full out running ) weights are typically for athletes who need excess mass and power aka football players and the typical dumb person who thinks they need to spend $30+ per month to do stupid bicep curls in the mirror when they still have a big gut and fat covering all there muscle anyways.... i feel sorry for the ignorant.

  • @Bennett123huang Definitely not, any body weight exercises will only be beneficial to your strength and physique. Keep researching body weight exercises on youtube, there are plenty on good ones for all levels.

  • This is amazing to watch, can someone who knows their stuff please help me, i have started working out a couple of months and doing well, but i am confused as i have been told not to overwork my muscle, or it wont grow it will just burn and eat at the muscles (make me smaller instead of bigger), so i stick to normal reps i.e 12 - 15 reps on each set, how do I get stronger and bigger at the same time, should i stick to my 60 minute workout 3 times per week, or workout everyday ????

    He's an amazing example of how much you can accomplish with the weight of your own body. When you do things right, you get results. Sure there's always other ways to do things which can work just as well, but as a minimalist this guy's a champion amongst champions.

  • I used to body build, then I got fat, six months ago I decided enough is enough, I am back training, I'm eating all organic food, I'm back in the gym, but I'm now cyling and swimming as well..This video is an inspiration to me because I want to do things different now, I'm going for strength and endurance, I'm now down to 18.5 stone that's about 256 Lbs, got awesome muscle show through as that fat goes but my belly ain't shifting, the fat is in the muscle, it's like I have a massive abs. HELP!!

  • @oldskoolchopperboy hey there :) don't despair, both body and mind have just about NO limits(it's our negative thinking that limits us). right now I'm having time, financial and eating issues and can't quite workout the way I wanna. you have fat issues, don't despair, be patient, to loose 50 Lbs in 2-3 months is just dumb and unhealthy, be patient, think like a martial artist, like a wild animal(heavier sometimes, take bears for ex. and agile other times like cheetahs or take insects for ex.)

  • @oldskoolchopperboy I'm sure you'll do just fine, keep cycling, swimming, running, climbing and other outdoor activities that beat all gyms. not denying weights it's just that, I've said it before, bears never go: "Where's my dumbbell?" they'll just level the tree in their way. I recommend weights/training tools like: sandbags, sledgehammers, kettlebells, battling ropes, tires, clubs, weight vests and so on... and books like Maciux89 and MrTlftlf recommended in their comments, like Paul Chek etc

    a good mix of patience, dedication, good diet and hard workout is the way to go nomatter what. theres no magic pill

    I had that, but when I started cycling and swimming I found it gave me me power and energy in the Gym, plus the obvious carbs and water, BTW, don't drink tap water, it's poison.

    And I fully agree with your info. Strength training takes years of patience and work.

    Anyone can get super ripped and big no problem. But to be strong? That takes skill and practice. And you're also right with your own body weight. Pushups, pullups, and anything without weights is basically what this guy does. /salute

As far as strength he is pretty skinny so that doesnt require much strength anyone can do a pull up when they weigh like 130 lbs or whatever, but i am not knocking him, he evidently has put alot of time in to doing stunts like that, and that shit is pretty badass to see. I know a vietnamese guy who is almost 50 can do stuff like that and he is a vegetarian and natural bodybuilder course he has been doing weightlifting for about 20 plus years now.
