  • @xdelarosax210 DON'T CLOSE THE DOOR TO YOUR ROOM !!!

  • 5 people had to walk

  • This tune is not one of my fave by the group but it nice all 4 contributed. To bad that could not have happened more, maybe less resentment and bitterness would have resulted.

  • I wish this song was a 100 hours long

  • @juffan Oh I just added a Replay button to my Youtube to fix this issue Lol

  • @juffan oooooooooooooh! that would be so wonderful

  • My Dad says this sounds like a hip-hop break beat.

    He has a point.

  • makes me wanny ride a unicorn into space and land on the moon. then ouke a rainbow from the moon to earth and ride it

  • this is why they're great, they don't even have to sing much.....real talented bunch!

  • before the beatles rock band:

    youtuber:i guess :(

    after the beatles rock band:

    youtuber:STFU!!

    seriously guys?, cut it out

  • @SagradaMascarita STFU!!

  • A new publication is being issued which contains literally thousands of YouTube comments. The item is entitled 'You Are A Tube!' compiled by Steven Fried PLC.

  • This is where Pokemon got it.

  • "this is the 'bong song' of my time" -my dad.

  • first hip hop beat ever? shit i can rap to this:

    yoyo the magical tour

    serving food to the poor

acid and weed - the cure

    coke and meth all pure... damn my shit's whack :{

  • my dad grow up listen the beatles on the radio, i can't listen radio cuz today shit music...

  • Harry Shearer uses this on his radio program "Le Show," during the segment "Tales of Airport Security." A unique Beatles tune.

  • The coolest thing about this is that all 4 of them wrote it together.

  • @EmilyARTS

you're correct, however they wrote most everything together, bouncing ideas off each other and such. I do understand each song has a "primary writer" though. this just happens to be the only one credited to all 4 of them because it doesn't have any words

  • @Mohoss18 Actually, "Dig It" is also credited to all of them.

  • @EmilyARTS And they all sang (or hummed) it together too! Nothing more sublime in the universe than all 4 Beatle voices chiming in together!

  • @PurpleShamrock Totally, amen on that one! ;) A completely groovy song.

  • @EmilyARTS

most of they're songs they wrote together boi

  • @AwesomeBuddy12 Well, rarely did ALL of them collaborate on something enough for it to be credited McCartney/Lennon/Harrison/Starr. Oh, and I'm not "boi". I'm a girl. ;P

  • @AwesomeBuddy12, on the contrary, most of their songwriting were solo efforts by a certain beatle with minimal input by the others. Songs that are really made by Lennon-McCartney together are but few.

  • @Solon1 Mostly true in later years, however "minimal input" by one could turn a good song into a great one ( Harrison's idea to throw a waltz into "We Can Work It Out, for instance). Or injecting "A Day in the Life" with Macca's little ditty.)

Plus, when they performed the songs together their chemistry added another intangible element...

  • @Eccotoneful, yeah not gonna argue with that. :)

  • @EmilyARTS That's waht makes their colaborated music the best!

  • have to agree with commentor gilestyle.(below).........people just ain't what they used to be.....woodstock 2 proved that..........too much anger & hatred.......the "me" generation........this music came from a different time..............but i keep meeting cool people on youtube so all is not lost my friend

  • A first use of 'sampling'.

  • @Nacho66 True, and I believe the mellotron on "Flying" and "Strawberry Fields" was set up for the Beatles by non other than Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues, who famously took the instrument to dazzling heights on the "Core Seven" albums, Mike also played on the Imagine album.

  • This makes me wanna take a magial bus tour throught the english counrty side and make a stop in egypt :)

  • I listen to this when i travel in plane ^^

  • May I recommend the book 'A Pop Revolution, the transatlantic music scene 1965 to 1969' by the invisible man. The author is a big fan of this fine instrumental.

  • I sometimes read some of the comments when I click on a tune out of morbid curiosity. The same morbid curiosity that makes me stop and watch a full minute of the kardashians when i'm flipping channels. And to think that just days ago a couple of people were telling each other to fuck themselves on THIS tune?!!! I think I wont even bother to read any comment nor make any. This is one stupid fucked up world. thanks for shattering my illusion that true Beatles fans would be any different...Really?!

  • @gilestyle meep

  • It's a Ringo song?

  • @rdglpz it's the first beatles song with writers credit to all 4 beatles

  • @mddbassdude727 Thanks!

  • this song is not like any other. It is one of the best songs ever

  • May I recommend the book 'A Pop Revolution, the transatlantic music scene 1965 to 1969' by the invisible man. The author is a big fan of this fine instrumental.

  • my elbow kinda smells like skin ... i dunno

  • love the guitar part at 0:20 :)

  • Out there pioneers this late 60's still fresh to me.

  • Flying > Revolution 9 (On the creepy scale)

But good to just listen to. xD

  • @capncook More like Flying > Revolution 9 (on the short scale)

this (nor #9) is not creepy! its real music man! cheer up buddy!

  • If only all the Beatles were here today, they could fix our music.

  • @livy36916 whats wrong with it??

Their was great artists and bad artists and its the same for this Gen i don't see a difference just cuz you cant find good music doesn't mean everyone else cant either...

  • @ToConfused What's wrong with music today is all the corporations have taken hold and delivered endless amounts of boring, redundant, fabricated, plastic pop music. And it's popular becuase most people that listen to music now don't care. It has no soul. Music isn't as important anymore. But it will change eventually because the same thing happened in the 1980's. Mostly redundant souless fabricated musuci was popular, but there was also some great music, though underground

  • @livy36916 and how!!! im sorry to admit to not liking any new available tunes except for my own. the beatles, so diverse, had a style and a song for every mood!!

  • @livy36916 you sure its the music today? or is it you being unable to find good music yourself since your parents dont have any modern music

  • @livy36916 Are you kidding? I'm not putting The Beatles down, but the only reason you think our music needs 'fixing' is because you're listening to all the wrong things. You know, like the radio.

  • @plmko187187 Trouble is, there used to be a time when the GOOD songs WERE on the radio...ever hear of the Band Of Skulls?....didn't think so.

  • @livy36916 Your comment made me smile but also filled me with a bit of sadness at how right you are and how shite music in our society has become.

  • Sounds like an Elka.

  • The only Beatles song "written" by all 4 Beatles.

  • @gaspo2180 no way, really??

  • totally underrated beatles song

  • 2 people looked to the left.

  • Such beauty here.

  • @greypaw83 john is the walrus paul is the hippo ringo is the bird and george is the bunny lol sorry dyslexia kickin in lol

  • @greypaul83 joh is the walrus paul is the hippo ringo is the bird and george is the bunny

  • @karson0615 And they are all the eggmen.

  • Which beatle is in which costume?

  • Real acidy

  • flying..... with weed and this music x) <3

  • add some psychadelic clip to it and it'd be perfect

  • this is just one of those songs you make when your super high

  • What can i say? It's just so perfect.

  • The intro of this song reminds me of the Scooby Doo when they walk in a funny way

  • @dankeosy same!

  • 12 bar blues was never more weird... brilliant fab 4!!!!!

  • This what you get when you combine too many drugs with music

  • @winmichaels Too many? Sounds like just the right amount to me. :P

  • @winmichaels agreed

  • Sounds like they put it on the album just to take up space, but it's a great little song. I really like it.

  • Sounds like minecraft music to me.

  • @1:04... They sound so Manly singing the La-la's...... Butch Beatles! Yum!

  • yo! b.p. hustler- take a chill pill! in john lennon's biography he says he stole bits of music all the time. what's the big deal??

  • who remembers allison steele playing this every nite on her show on wnew fm. bittersweet memories of a wasted youth.

  • omg best walking song ever (ironic cuz its called flying)

  • @QuiteHotBros haha LOL

  • Starting At 1:31 Freaky...

  • the Mellotron sounds as crisp as ever...very spicey stereo remix. Excellent.

  • The Beatles did not "top" Seargent Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band...they just continued to KICK ASS!

  • @shack8110 Couldn't have said it any better!!!! :D

  • I have no idea why.

  • I almost thought this is from Pink Floyd xD

  • I'm not sure why people are hating on BagpipeHustler's comment. This would make for a good hip-hop sample. Of course, when your opinion on the matter is simply "fuck hip-hop" you're probably not going to see that. Remember guys: John, Paul, George, and Ringo were just as influential to that genre as any other.

  • @Skeberter Look dude. The Beatles are real musicians, okay. Nobody I mean NOBODY should sample their music. Not for POP, not for COUNTRY. ESPECIALLY NOT HIP HOP. NO GENRE PERIOD! Remakes of the Beatles are pushed to the shadow because it's obvious that the ORIGINAL will always be better! And why can't those sampling motherfxcker make their own beats and music like The Beatles did?

  • @TheBlueBeatle3 I love them as much as the next guy, but man, where to begin... 1) Samplers are, in fact, "real musicians". 2) "Remakes" don't enter into the equation. It's not like the sample is supposed to be compared to the original; it's taking something from the original and creatively re-contextualizing it. 3) I don't think you understand what they do if you think they're not making "their own beats and music". 4) Finally, you are aware that the Beatles sampled music themselves, right?

  • @Skeberter Okay maybe you're right. They sampled but give me 3 songs they sampled (because I want to see for myself). But samplers (99.99% of them) are NOT real musicians. Personally, nobody is better then them. NOBODY. PERIOD.

  • @TheBlueBeatle3 They have used sampling on "Yellow Submarine", "I Am The Walrus", "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite", and "Revolution 9". All of those songs were very influential in the art of sampling and have been given some deserved credit as precursors to hip-hop. And I'm just going to have to highly disagree with you about samplers not being musicians. Sure, some of them are hacks... just like some guitarists are, or drummers, or bassists. It is a real craft, and it takes talent to do.

  • @Skeberter How were those sampled? As in what songs did they use to sample. What I mean is ... Hmm. Okay here's and example THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT I MEAN!

EX: They used Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love" guitar rife (or whatever) in "Helter Skelter" AGAIN THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT I MEAN when I say what did they sample!!!

  • @TheBlueBeatle3 "Yellow Submarine" sampled an old John Philip Sousa march, as well as various sound effects and background material. "Mr. Kite" took music from various organ records and put them together, in addition to recordings of circuses. "I Am The Walrus" used sound from a BBC recording of King Lear. "Revolution 9", I trust, doesn't need to be explained. Let's be clear here: I see you love the Beatles, like most right-thinking people in this world. So why not sample them, if done well? :)

  • @Skeberter No way! I don't ever want to sample a Beatle song! It's perfect the way it is. (: Beatle-tastic. Okay lame but thank you very much! :D I didn't see that as sampling but then again, it is! xD

    >> I love their music!!

I have yet much to learn and I am more than willing to learn MORE about them! (: You were a big help, and I appreciate that. ^_^

  • this is my favorite album

  • Even without actually lyrics, The Beatles made Godlike tunes... BOOYAH!

  • This might be the only song in the world that I can fall asleep to.

  • Raa La La La Laaaaaaaaaa Ra La La La La La

  • this shows the influence of indian music on george

  • this is old ! :-)

  • classic

  • Just took this old girl i know named lucy out. Up up and away!!

  • :0)

  • esta habla del faso

  • The music is my religion

    The Beatles my GOD

  • wow this would be a PERFECT hip-hop sample.

  • @BagpipeHustler fuck hip-hop

  • @TheIMonstahI they used samples too.... apparently....

  • @BagpipeHustler Really? For what song. I really would like to know (:

  • @TheBlueBeatle3 WHAT!!!! beatles are known for it im not tellin you....

  • @BagpipeHustler That;s because you DON'T know. So shut up and leave the Greatest Musician of All Music history be. (:

  • @TheBlueBeatle3 yeah lotta' samples in their records, mind you.... im supposed to say plural?

  • @BagpipeHustler And yet you don't mention not ONE. BTW The Beatles ARE NOT known for sampling songs. They are known because they MADE MUSIC. Music that to this day, sounds fresh and pumps you with energy. The Beatles are TIMELESS and by far won the title "Greatest musician(s) of all time". And mind you saying that's what they're known for sampling because that's NOT TRUE. They were UNIQUE and did their own thing. That's why their known. Not sampling songs.

  • @TheIMonstahI

jesus christ you are closed minded, if only you could see this share alot with hip hop, nu-jazz, and trip hop. Learn to dislike music for it's sound, not it's genre.

  • @BagpipeHustler HELL NO. DON'T DO THAT TO THE BEATLES.

  • This is just so cool. No one else but the Beatles could get away with this. Other groups were doing experimental tracks on their albums. Nothing compares. Flying was slang for tripping back in the sixties. The Fab Four were certainly flying all the time having a laugh.

  • Elevator music taken to a whole new level.

  • They were tripping balls when they made this...

    The Beatles are the best.

  • thanks for the info, You just made my day.

  • drug to my ear.

  • @MikSevilla drug to the boys too lol

  • @MikSevilla And where do the others go?

  • @MikSevilla go fuck yourself

  • @MikSevilla drug meaning it sucks? then go fuck you self means you suck because you hate it and... that made no sense at all didint it?

  • @mistermamaluigi

is that what you were actually thinkin when you typed that?

  • @MikSevilla i was thinkin you hated it yea if i was mistaken then im sorry

  • if this song was longer.... it would be a perfect song

  • @MikSevilla There is actually a 9 minute version. When I saw it I was like WOW THAT'S GREAT! But now, I actually prefer this version :3 It's called 'The Beatles - Flying (complete 9:38 version)' if you wanna check it out ^.^

  • @CharlotteC94 Where is the 9 minute version? Is that the one that seques over into the circus with Ringo's aunt in the movie and all that? No thanks if it is. Let me give it a listen then.

  • I am a freshman. I am 14 years old. I sing this song with my friends; each one of us does a different part. It is cool.

  • heard this song on the radio wondering were i heard it and now it just came to me, i love this song.

  • cool

  • best music for a helocopter flying in air = flying.

  • You mean "this" sunRISE

  • HIS WAS A JOHN LENNON SONG.. that ''we all got into''so says Paul...

  • I love this. Would hardly call it s a "song" though as it has no lyrics. A background chorus singing "la la la la la la" doesn't count!

  • @TheRadicalLiberal A song doesn't have to have words to be a song. Music is music, with or without words.

  • @hippiechick024 officially, this is an instrumental.

  • @TheRadicalLiberal

your right if you believe everything "wikipedia" says *sarcasm*

  • @TheRadicalLiberal it has music, Music-SONG!!!!!!

  • @TheRadicalLiberal Have you ever heard of an "Instrumental" ??? What about The William-tell Overture? What do you call that?

  • I wish Paul McCartney could do a live version of this song!

  • this song is amazing

  • @MrFallout2 Greatest interlude ever, especially the end!

  • nice and crispy

  • this and "Dig It" were the only 2 songs that were credited to all 4 members of The

    Beatles

  • @TASLOCO702 What about Revolution #9, ( Number 9, Number 9, Number 9...etc)

  • This and "Cry for a Shadow" were the only instrumentals released by the Beatles.

  • @astronorm111 what about all that George Martin stuff, like the instrumentals on "Help" and the whole second side of "yellow submarine" (vinyl, that is! )

  • @audacide That was a soundtrack for a movie. Totally Different. The Beatles didn't play all those instruments?

  • @astronorm111 I mean written and credited. Sorry.
