yesssss!!!! chewing up indian carpets..I developed it this past year and it taste really good but i don't swallow it as I am afraid of what it might do to my inside digestive tract but i was seriously thinking about getting on the MAURY SHOW to tell the world of my weird taste for indian carpets and you know what? I believe that I am addicted to it...and now I am eating cornstarch again too!! what the hell is wrong with me huh?

i used to eat argo corn starch as a child in the 70s when it used to come in a brown box...now i have graduated to eating and chewing on rugs and carpets the best tasting ones are the indian rugs i don't swallow them i just chew and spit it out and i only chew the brand new carpets & rugs fresh from the factory WEIRD HUH?

@uhavemooface It sounds crazy but it is an iron deficiency thing (pica). I have the corn starch habit and I know it sounds crazy but I just can't stop. It definitely has to be the right brand and the right consistency. I'm eating some right now and I'll have a bunch of it later on while I watch the SAG awards. It's just something about the texture of it in my mouth that I like but I know it's all due to my anemia-I need to start taking iron again and then the cravings should go.

I mix my starch...I use Karlins, Argo, and walmart brand GV...in equal parts mix together and there it is the best starch ever...so u know I have to be a pro at this...oan I do not swallow dont like the milky texture..i just spit it out...but its so good.

i saw a bunch of women eating cornstarch... black and white so i tried it cuz i thought maybe it taste like cake batter or sumthn and so i took a nice size scoop and then the most horrible think happened to me.. i couldnt breathe and i suffocated almost... the powder was gettign all up in my pipes and system.... i thought i was gunna die it made me feel sooo dry.... my mouth was completely dry i couldnt even swallow it... so wtfreak why are you eating this nasty stuff... its dryyyyy!

If you are eating cornstarch you are probably iron deficient. Not only that but probably overweight because you eat it. Get a good vitamin and the cravings will leave. You'll likely lose weight too.

i luv cornstarch, argo in the box is the best it just has that crunch to it and that taste that reminds me of how the vaccum cleaner smells like, but it's hard to find the box so i just deal wit the container it has a funny taste but it's still good to me i add a couple of spoons of bakin soda for flavor and a little water for crunch and it's on

My New Year's resolution was to stop & I made it 5 whole days before I was drawn to that aisle in the supermarket & I'm back at it again! @Shari4ever It's more about consistency then taste for me...I like the way it feels on my tongue and I know it sounds crazy! My fiance is an ER physician so I hide the habit from him although he's seen me eating it before. I asked him what would happen if I kept eating it and he was like 'Well, nothing good, I'm sure!' but he didn't exactly make it sound life threatening...I still hide it from him, though...I don't know how I'll do it when we're married in a few months!
