I've just started to listen to Izzy's solo stuff. he is amazing his playing and sing are so good but one thing I have noticed is that slash gets all the credit when you can clearly hear it was izzy who wrote most the guitar parts, his songs sound like songs that belong with AFD, I'm not trying to hate on slash i like him he is a great guitarist just sick off all the people saying GnR isnt GnR withoug slash when its really izzy people should want back lol
@rollo316 you also never hear slash saying, izzy wrote that one. its always, i didn't like the way axl and izzys songs sounded until i got my hands on them. agreed he is a great guitarist but as a songwriter? mediocre! nothing astounding on that solo album or the snake pit albums...jesus even VR were a bit limp wristed. also i like him, but there was more than one huge ego in GNR. izzy doesn't get the credit he rightly deserves.

In Adlers book, Slash is slightly portrayed as kinda a selfish prick.And I could totally see Slash being that way.Slash has this passive aggressive ego. (Maybe Im just jealous of the prick).

@roxi1adi Axl is a good songwriter, but that`s it. His singing is atrocious - always has been. I love GnR, but it`s all I can take listening to his caterwauling.
@radairman33 its funny afterr all the years that passed people still blame Axl??? Axl was the only one in the band with out an addiction problem .. Dont blame him for not wanting to hang with scum!! why do you think izzy left?? Izzy has played with Axl in the last couple years , they have been friends sence they were little kids! Duff played with Axl last year so as I see it Axl just dont like Slash and Steven is to fucked up to hold a drum stick!! Axl did what he had to to save his career
