  • @Basic Black and @Movie2kFan I totally agree I love Gerard Butler in movies but seeing this video completely turns me off him and I've watched another few videos were he has been moody and rude like this to fans too... I understand he gets hassled for photos and autographs all the time but this is what this industry is all about and he has people who adore him and that have probaly been waiting for hours for a picture...I like his movies but I sure as hell don't feel sorry for him,why would I?

  • I love his humor!! XD hahaha

  • Honest! and very smart... one pic leads to a frenzy!!! and you saw him he was in a hurry he could barely even stay to sign autographs... he obviousally had something to do and his agents or friends in the background were telling to come too... go to his premiere!! then he will have pleanty of time to sign things and take pics!!! forget the people that say hes rude... is on a tight schedule and has to keep to it!! I am sure he is one of the nicest people in hollywood!!! LOVE U GERRY!!!!<3<3<3<3<3

  • i like the way he talks to hes fans straight just as a regular guy would,he aint tryna be no saint, hes an actor,an hes giving as much signatures as he can,but the dude cant be standing round all day giving pics signatures an shit, hed be there all night, gotta draw the line somewhere,be greatful u got a signature,id be well happy to get 1 from him,hes awesome.

  • I just hope that if I ever meet him he's in the mood to meet a fan ;P poor guy, he seems so yired

  • Yo les dije ... algun defecto tenia que tener ...

  • I feel sorry for him. I really do. I understand his frustration. I'm no star but I would imagine that he was sick and tired of doing that. Yeah an autograph is cool but some people just don't do Pics. Other autograph hunters are just greedey. I agree. There is never 'just one'.

  • you have no idea what he's been through though, you heard him say "ya know, I've been doin this all night, and I'm never gonna get -Anywhere" He sounded like he was holding back and trying to be polite despite his frustration. He is a human being.

  • He's not even that rude, when he says no he even smiles and wasn't snappy and he explained that he wouldn't get anywhere if he would take a picture which is true. If you're a real fan, you can't expect to get everything from your idol.

  • i think so tooo!!!!!

  • Holy cannolis! Get a life, stalkers! I don't think he was rude - he was truthful - if he took one picture, he'd have to take a hundred and it wasn't even his premiere! Real fans understand that actors are humans too (at least most of them) and don't turn on them at a drop of a hat! Good riddance to the haters!

  • Bottom line:

If you're an actor you should treat your fans with respect. You don't get the huge paychecks for nothing. Butler should be very kind to his fans, especially those that have been waiting around for hours. It isn't a big deal to take a picture with a fan for 5 seconds. The moment Butler doesn't have fans that ask to take pictures he's in trouble, and he knows it.

  • True!

  • Celebrities are people just like you and me, they just happen to have a better financial and public life than we do. So we, wrongly, look up to them and put them up on pedestals. How would any of his fans feel if they had their own legion of fans hounding them at every turn for their autograph, hug, kiss, etc?

  • Especially when it got to the point, where they had obsessive/stalker fans? Not a fun existence if you ask me. I think Mr. Butler is somewhat justified for his actions, and I didn't see anything that was rude in his behaviour. Those fans are lucky he was willing to sign even one and talk to them. There are some celebs who would sooner have you arrested if you came within 20 feet of them. Does anyone have anything more important to do with their life and time than stalk other people?

  • Gerry has been nicer to his fans over the years than any other actor I know. This fan asked, he said no, fair enough. When he's promoting a film he's in he expects to be photographed. This was someone else's premier, so he gave more than he needed to.

  • Maybe he was having a bad day - he is human-I work at a job dealing with the public and most of the time I can cater to everyone's needs, but sometimes, you have enough. I agree with amber994 - take a photo and be happy. I love him - maybe I'm blind, but he can do no wrong in my eyes. There are alot of actors that won't do interviews or sign autographs at all for that very reason - you can't satisfy everyone. It is never enough--

  • For goodness sake, leave the man alone! He's an actor, not a politician. He took time to sign the autographs - he could've walked right by the line. If he was "nice", the photos would never end and he'd spend all night with the photos! Sheeeesh!!!! Take a photo with your camera and be happy!

  • Then walk by but don't be rude to the fans when he does talk to them.

  • He used to be a real sweetheart!!!

    I wonder what happened?

  • yeah he used to be s sweetheart!!!

    I wonder what happened???

  • I have been a supporter of Gerry's for a decade and the way he is acting towards fans is shameful. Open your eyes and stop making excuses for him. Most of his other long-time supporters have washed their hands of him. Gerry's fans were a stepping stone and now he doesn't need or want them around. How many videos and personal accounts does it take before people believe that this is the REAL Gerry?

Hate away at my post if you like, but deep down, you know the truth.

  • @lmscully I think you are 100% right in my opinion I think he has become too big for his boots... he needs to get a grip and realise and never forget he is here because the people waiting around for hours and that have spent their hard earned cash have put him where he is right now...He is acting like a spoilt brat in my opinion I used to love him...

  • This makes me sad too, Gerry has always been so generous with his time for his fans and the paps and they have taken advantage of him and he is not able to go anywhere without being bombarded. This was not his Premier, He was there to attend the Premier as a spectator and he could not just enjoy the night - Don't blame him - he has been nice too long and has been taken advantage of. Knowing the kind of person he is, this saddens him more.

  • jock a*sehole.

  • I love him and this makes me really sad to watch...I've seen him be nicer to the paparazzi:(

  • Much nicer than they deserve if you ask me, the fan asked, he said no, 'nuf said, move on.

  • The problem is, it's never just 'one'.

  • true, if you do it with one you'll have to do it with another, the man was there to do somthing and cant spend all nigh singing Autographs sooner or later he has to move on and someone is gonna be left without, thats just life
