I remember going to a party at a park in Merivale late at night, and one person started singing this song on the swings, and everyone else joined in. Cause everyone fuckin loved that song. It stands out as one of the best memories in my life.

Saw Julia Deans playing acoustic at Te Papas 10th birthday a week or so back and she finished with this. I knew she could sing well, but it's not until you take away everything but sparse acoustic guitaring and can really hear her properly that it's apparent just how good she is. This was the very first Fur Patrol song I was a fan of (just from hearing it live before they were even signed!) but by 2001 I'd learned to hate it (radio'd to death) but hearing it her sing it on her own was amazing.
