The script for this video is almost word for word from Kneivel's Wikipedia entry! I never realized he was such an....interesting character. Like Dunlap, I had the big "1" sticker on my notebook in 5th grade.  We thought Kneivel was the greatest and tried to replicate his stunts with our Schwinn Sitngrays, with dubious results. Thanks for a revised trip down memory lane. P.S., Dunlap, did you have a "Big Jim" action figure as well?

Yep, got all that. Also about Hank Williams Sr., getting to heaven on short notice (only one hallelujah), kinda running out of people you'd like to meet there, and the fact that Dunlap was either not alive or aware in the 1970s. But he knows it sucked.

I had to cover my eyes when EK jumped. Too scared to watch, and waited for the tape to see him make it. They would play him crashing in slow motion, over and over again on TV. That was sick, but human nature has a need to see this stuff.

The only thing more annoying than somebody posting first and then celebrating it without commenting on the video (which is pretty asinine... who cares if you're the first if you have nothing to say except that you're the first?) is people who lament not being first, claiming to be "so close" three minutes later - and again having nothing else to say.
