  • @DangoAki it's 3 months late, but it's because the less melodic hardstyle evolved into jumpstyle.

    If you listen to the Noisecontrollers song 'Interview', that's very hard hitting and melodic. Jumpstyle mainly has some dirty riffs and a 'paum' kick, with no snare. Hardstyle has a huge bassy kick with a hard snare, and trancey melodies.
