I'm glad to see they're filming a new series, but I think it's time to send the crew to the colonies. Colonial Farm would be a series worth watching --especially in Canada (snow and Grizzly Bears) or Australia (hot & poisonous bitey things). Part of the British experience, for millions, was emigrating --it'd be nice to see that in a series.
Hi Odd - His modesty in the face of sheer handsomeness is exceptionally rare these days. And you are absolutely correct; he is the workhorse of the team, the powerful man who comes and does heavier tasks where the other two cant handle it. He is witty and has tons of common sense also. You are very accurate in describing him. I hope you are a guy if you look even remotely like him ! I did read about the earlier episodes but discounted them as I thought PG would still be at university. Thanks
As far as I can remember Peter, Ruth and Alex are in all the series (Victorian and Edwardian Farm, Tales from the Green Valley, Victorian Christmas and A Tudor Feast). Victorian Pharmacy has Ruth and a couple of new people 'hosting'.
I might be forgetting one
And no, I'm a teenage girl with a facial hair problem
The only reason for watching this is to see the incredibly handsome Peter Ginn in action. A man of such modesty and stunning good looks is a rare combination.
I'm a Ginn fan too, though for different reasons. Out of the group I feel like he's the one I relate to the most. He's got common sense, and he's witty while being modest. He's the 'workhorse' of the team and does the heavier tasks.
I even look a bit like him when I think about it...
Wow....I've just found this video out by chance. Thank you for sharing! BTW, I think it's healthier to do all those activities on a daily basis (excluding the health hazards of course!)
Ruth suddenly looks like Princess Anne!

@SiJePuisCalhoun I agree. Being a Canadian who had ancestors start farms in Ontario, would love to see a Canadian pioneer series.
