The problem is political whores who DO NOT CARE that they're spending other people's money. Will the average politician retire without a sizable fortune? It's best if most politicians are forced out after a few years, no matter how "good" they are. They get drunk on their power and influence. They promise the moon, and can't even get out of orbit. Screw them and their little dogs too.
